my wife talked with the lawyer today and it seems once the clerk talks with the Groveland police officer everything will be dropped.

The dick head stated that I worked for the department and was Mike was shown special treatment because of that. So once they document that I don't work for them the complaint will be dismissed.

This guy simply made s*** up to cause problems.

just before Christmas we got word that Mike's case will be decided in our favor once the clerk finishes up a few things.

Today we get a letter from the Lawrence court house telling us that this ass hole is doing the same thing all over again but in the Juvenal system now. So a call to our lawyer and plans to be back in court January 15th.

Jason is right. Slap him with a huge civil complaint for big $$$ for harassment and he'll go away fast. I did that in the past with something and it worked instantly

It's not a civil suit as I first thought. He is applying for criminal charges to be applied to Mike. We have a hearing date where we both plead our case and if there is deemed enough evidence to warrant criminal charges then we go to court.

A little late, but what a douche! Glad I don't live where the citizens get to choose the charges

So he is not looking for any addition compensation he just wants to jack up my son with criminal charges.

Criminal charges for wacking a parked car at night? This is just stupid. What on earth could be the charge?!!!
I would not have a face to face with this guy. Use the lawyer, the guy is asking for it.

BTW was his car legally parked? Check it out, he could be partially responsible if it was illegally parked. How far was his truck into the road? Look for the tire marks.

Talked with the officer who did the report. Seems he contacted the state police and had their forensics dept calculate the speed Mike was driving, a whopping 37mph!

So no chance of reckless driving and since there was no one around at the time of the accident there is no one was endangered.

This guy needs to find something other than his hand to love.

Heck yes. Down here, the courts would pimp slap him for filing "frivolous claims"

Could have always been worse (the crash). Could have been an occupied car Ever find out what distracted him (so it doesn't happen again)
