Today‘s progress.
radiator out and cleaned the condenser while I was in there.
radiator had a small leak behind the shroud.
put on some old rims to get this thing to a manageable work hight.

Took yesterday off, but made some progress this evening.
timing belt really didn’t look to bad.

Not funny, and many to you good sir.
I take that back I don’t need any kind of bad mojo.
Plus the torque spec on most of the stuff is pretty low.

Yesterday got the new timing belt in and everything I could assemble. Waiting on the fan bracket assembly to show up, so it was a good stopping point.
Not much done today.
Got the shroud on the radiator.
and surprised the old belt doesn’t look to bad.
Your belt looks like it was in much better condition. I always had my suspicions that mine wasn’t done the first time. Looking at yours, I think it confirms it.

It’s funny because it’s a little over a 100k on it and 11 years old, but looks pretty good.
My rig had a complete service history when I bought it. 1 owner, always dealer maintained BUT no record of TB being done. Water pump at 115k. Plugs at the same time but no sticker for the TB. Thought maybe they had it done at a private shop since everything else was by the book every 5k. But safe to say mine had 200k on it by the looks and wear.

Making sure the seal packing 103 FIPG is curing.
I assume it is still cold there...sucks! We are entering the warmer wet weather and the pollening has started in GA.
