This Saturday and Sunday at 286 if anyone wants to go. Suppose to be beautiful.

I could be up for Saturday morning sometime... School is over for the semester and I need some physical activity!

Duo and was about to pm you ;)

Lets do it, I am not an XC racer but I should be good for two 13 mile loops.

Me neither. Slow and steady.

Sent pm with email address and signing up. Looks like it sells out every year.

What are the details about this type of race? 6 hours combined between 2 racers? Mr. Weller are you interested? :) I need an event to train for!

Its my understanding that you have 6 hours to complete as many laps as you can between the two riders. You should check out this one too:
Ride and Seek MTB Adventure Race - U.S. National Whitewater Center. I am signed up for this one, but maybe Andrew wants to race in it too. This one is nice because there isn't a lot of pressure. You can ride as much or as little and call it a day.

Yes, I want to sign up for that one as well. Please let me know if someone wants to partner. Thank you.

Please post any others as well. I love to ride however having an event makes me go even more!

I headed out early to hit the Harris Lake trails. The work that TORC has done out there is fantastic. Some of the old sections still exist and are pretty rough and rooty.

Most of the mud puddles I encountered were not very deep or wet however this one was thick squishy mud. I was going anywhere from 12 to 15mph, hit the mud and lost my balance. I hit the tree on the left with my handlebars and quickly followed by my shoulder. I immediately thought I broke my collar bone. I kneeled down for 5 minutes and then checked my joints and bones. Nothing was broken but the impact was easily the worst tree accident I've had.

I was able to ride out but I've been in some pretty severe pain all day. My shoulder is black and blue and my neck hurts like I have whiplash.

Anyways, a ride with an accident is better than sitting around and watching TV all day.

another ih8mud believer?

glad nothing appears broken.

So im in the market for a ride....

But need to sell one first.

2012 intense FRO ed 26”
Sram components
Rock shox/Fox shocks

Id love to keep this one but i bought it before taking a year off to deal with a family illness and am now a bit over the weight limit for the FRO (for race only) frame (#175 ) Would rather sell than risk any damage to it.

Bought from a mudder $1800
Havent put 200 miles on it
Would like to get $1000 for it

M/L frame. Im 5-11 and it fits well. Shorter top tube than im used to but i skipped two decades of tech between this and the last frame geometry i rode.

Pm for pics or specs or a test ride

Just go out and run and diet until you're under the weight limit! And no  :)
