The last run on sentence where you have 3 project in front of this one

It's the truth. 🤷

Fingers crossed he get's tired of the PO's work, realizes he has too many projects, and sells it back cheap :hillbilly:

My team and I have revived some junk way worse then this. This project is pretty easy :)

it’s the resurrection that is so cool to watch in awe. While it’s nice to bolt on a new tub…..seeing the rot disappear and a new body emerge is just magic

check back on that in a year

mechanicals will happen sooner then later. I really want to try this TT suspension and I do not like manual steering at all

I’m with you Matt, and these freakin’ TT springs are getting to be a household word in the last several months. I want them …but in this stage of my 4 wheeled life, I have way tooooooo much wrapped up in my 40 that will make it a hard sell when that time comes in this current market. I’ll just drool over yours and the others out there

I just bought a 40 parabolic. I'm pretty impressed with my 45.

I’m doing the opposite, if I like them on this 40 I’ll get a set for my 45 build.
Just the weight of the springs alone is a huge selling factor for me

New jump seat reinforcements… these go under wheelwell. going to add these to the site as it doesn’t look like anyone else makes these and CCOT doesn’t show them on their replacement wheelwells

Interesting. I was just thinking in the last 48 hours I might need something like this or brackets to move the jumpseat mounting points if they don’t fit with a aftermarket metal tech cage. My seats are in a box in storage so I can’t try fitment until I get time. My kid is finally old enough to be back there for short low speed drives and I want to use that cool feature of the 40 even if it’s just a mile down the road and back.
That is a nice looking item you’ve made:

Musturd got a little love recently in prep for ONSC Relic Run in a few weeks. One of my team members will likely be cruising it there.

I actually loaned this 40 out to a friend of mine who needed transportation for the last six months or so. Musturd hasn’t skipped a beat but she did kinda run it into the ground

Last weekend dad and I spent an hour or so trying to address the brakes- the fronts were completely out of adjustment , and the rears were all completely seized.

All four drums are still out of round but at some point I’ll put discs on the front and my later rear brake package on when I can find some time/money.
Dad pressured me into replacing all the rear wheel cylinders.

The drivers door latching and handle were also completely worn out. Replaced with new OE

And today, lately we’ve started a trend where the whole staff here jumps on one of my projects for about 30 minutes at lunch once a week.

Today was full brake adjustment and re-bleed (brakes working good now!)
Wiper blades, new visors, shift knob, adding a side mirror, front shock bushings (they were just gone), and finally trimming the front u bolts that I never did two years ago.

I'd rather have only front discs and the rear clamped off than 4 wheel drum. Glutton for punishment you are
Fortunately my guys are good at getting them dialed in right efficiently. They definitely require upkeep though

I’ll bet it’s got that “new car smell” back.

Little late but here’s pics of Musturd from 26 Relic Run, another 1200 mile road trip on the clock. My employees drove it (and my other 40 and 45).
No serious issues other than discovering the rear driveshaft likes to completely fail on harder trails. For the first time ever for me I saw the exact same part break twice on the same obstacle  fortunately we were also able to find TWO spare rear driveshafts in camp. I think the pinion angle is a little too steep and the rear springs are just way too soft without a trac bar.

Passenger running board took a hit too. Oh well, it was a good day

It drove the trip fine but Musturd is now desperately overdue for some attention, cooling system needs an overhaul bad, and is leaking oil from just about everything, and exhaust is getting really loud.
Just need to figure out a direction for this one or find the right home for it (that can pay me to make it really nice and exactly what they want) after they buy it
