Take-apart door hinges

Got my hinges on thursday and man, they are very nice. Wasn't expecting the primer job, saves me some time. Thanks a bunch, awesome product!

I prime them to keep them from corrosion. I'm wondering if a graphite dry lube on the bolt would be good too. I have sent out a few with just wd40 or pb blaster on them for sets being sent to powder. Glad you like them!

I recently found a local, willing owner of ambulance-doored fj40 to let me test fit some prototype ambu-door hinges. My laser cutter is also getting a press brake so that will help me get them developed more quickly.

Yup, appreciate you marking them. I understand now and marking them is no longer needed...they are marked in my brain.

I just placed an order for more parts to build with. I have a few parts to weld this week to have two regular sets or one super set until I get my new parts in. My bank and intuit both messed up recently, but I can still work through paypal and email until things get cleared up.

I just realized that I never got you photos of your hinges with my factory soft doors. So you go.



They work great. Now I need to finish redoing the bottoms of my hard doors and get them mounted with your hinges. Before winter would be ideal...

Just got another set of upper halves to make half doors stoked.
These worked great at cruiserfest. Doors off in less than 5 minutes and ready for the off road course

While working through some orders this week I figured out that my bushing supplier sent me too many of one style and none of the other style of bushings. Buggar! They're making it right and I should be back in good order sometime next week.

I talked to my laser cutter about helping me R&D parts for the ambulance door hinges. I can't promise any timeframe, but will be working on making that happen finally.

Matt, I never got around to telling you how much I like the hinges, they are installed and not only me, but everybody that sees them love them...we are working on the half doors now and I expect thats when they will really come into play...thanks again...BTW quickly being able to take off the rear doors...great idea..Lee
