DOES the middle bracket get in the way?
 
Would like to know if you're re-routing the wires (lock, etc.) or just laying stuff on top of the wiring that's in there. Thanks

Lids will be 1/4" 6061 aluminum with dual doors and Soutchco sealed locking latches. Stainless bolts and nuts with allen wrenches and antiseize. Doors are fully supported by an inner perimeter rail that is welded to the main face frame.

I've flipped the latches and locks for various reasons. So, the door will now open into the cab instead of out.

These are bare metal and available for order now. Currently at a 5 week lead time.

Thanks to the orders already made. I'll post updates as I receive them from the cutter.

Do you have a photo of where to fit the gas strut i am getting crosseyed trying to work it out

I was thinking a strut or tailgate assist type mechanism for the tailgate itself rather than the storage lid. Our boy scout "be prepared for anything" mentality means we are likely to jamb the storage facility in the tailgate with all sorts of gear and the tailgate will get a little cumbersome.

I just finished up the cut files. I had to remake them. My old laser shop wouldn't release the files..... I plan to run a sample cut next week/weekend to see how I like everything.

If all is good I'll be about 2 weeks out on availability.
