you pigs in the east...what route will you travel to get to the event?...coming thru kansas on I70?..i think a pig caravan would be cool...post up i would love to follow or lead other pigs thru kansas on to colorado.

Well I hadnt exactly searched out a route yet. In fact I dont know for certain I'll even be driving my pig yet. Might ride with my roomy in the 40 or 62. But I'd imagine we would be passing through kansas.

I don't know if you guys have cordinated with other groups but I just got an email today on the LCML and Rising sun is doing an event in Denver on the 20th. I don't know how close the 2 locations are.

This is the email:

Rising Sun will be putting on a TLCA 30th anniversary Land Cruiser rally in the Denver Area on August 20th. We're hoping to get several hundred rigs, vendors, raffle, food. Big social get-together. We'd love to see you, and hopefully the Sandcruiser too!

I would really like to make it but I just passed the state real estate license exam and will be starting a new job soon so I am not sure I can get the time off. I will know more in a few months.

I would most likely take backroads around the ATL, St Louis, and any other really large cities where the 55 wont do well in the high speed traffic.

newsflash: my wife and I are expecting in July so I should not be expecting attend this fun filled event. Sorry to miss out but not sorry to be expecting! I'll organize the east coast pig run with Schmauchster instead and maybe we can all put together something for TT this year, pigs honoring the 30th etc.

Did they make some copies for you both to keep? Our first child the ultrasound was lousy and I couldnt make heads nor tails of what the lady was trying to show me. When we had out third child the equipment was very clear. Really cool seeing the face of something you helped make that is still inside your wife.

To all the Pigs that will be, or plan on attending. I need to know simple list of mods and upgrades. Just a simple list... like stock or lifted, tire size, do you have a winch? CB Radio? Recovery Equipment? Etc. If you are driving a stock rig just say its factory stock.

78 55 4" lift, 33", the rest is factory stock, working on rust repair.

But in case I do mods are as follows:
Welded rear
Shackle lift
Full cage
PS will be done before the event
SOA with front shackle revearsal possible before the event.
