Cheers,

Very nice work Jay!

It's always fun to see what's happening outside the fog of my Tequila riddled brain.

Any chance you have the video answer to the which is better FJ40 or FJ80?

Awesome!
I cant wait.

Oh one other thing, I would imagine there are restroom facilities, Right? My wife wanted to make sure, Just in case.

yup, SnT has its very own (almost) dedicated toilet facilities 100 yards or so from the main camp. Usually clean, spacey, modern. Have an emergency supply of paper just in case though, and bring a light at night... :) No critters except for seagulls outside. No running water. Time yourself, there can be lines. And as usual, with this kind of facility, be sure you have a spare key for the truck...:D This detailed enough for ya? :)
No shower in the immediate vicinity though, except for trailers with an outside shower and heavy sleepers... :D

There is also the campground that has showers and facilities that use quarters:)

some of the "restrooms" are better than others. IMO - there is a level of ICK to each one. I try to take a ride down to the ramp where there are 'real" flushies! :)))

Swimming

Be careful out there kids. This is about 20mi from the south end of the beach and Avila, mentioned, is about 10 miles north.

Shark kills body boarder in Central California

VANDENBERG AIR FORCE BASE, Calif. – Authorities say the victim of a deadly shark attack in Central California was a body boarder whose leg was bitten off.
Santa Barbara County Sheriff Bill Brown tells the Lompoc Record that the man was attacked Friday morning at Surf Beach. Brown says a friend on a surfboard got him to shore but the man bled to death.
The University of California, Santa Barbara, identifies the man as a student, 19-year-old Lucas Ransom from Romoland in Riverside County.
Surf Beach is on the property of Vandenberg Air Force Base but is open to the public.
Vandenberg says the base closed the beach and two others through the weekend.
The last such attack at Surf Beach was in 2008, when a shark bit a surfer's board.
A great white shark killed a woman in 2003 at Avila Beach, about 30 miles north of Vandenberg.

Anybody from Denver area coming to SnT that would be willing to haul a fj40 roof and sides that are disassembled?:steer:
