I am going to need to know a couple details of the layout on the place, for the wife and kids' sake, if I am going to make it happen this year.
- Parking and lounging for Cruiser, wife and baby (11 months) and toddler (4 years). I am not bringing a trailer, and will more than likely be staying at the sister-in-law's house, so tent space will not be required.
- Safe place for wife and kids while I am out on the dunes. I would rather that they get to have a good time as well, especially if I am planning on making a return trip next year.
Hope to see everyone there this year, and thanks in advance for any help with the above.
obviously, there are tons of trucks driving around the main camp, some pretty fast. In the past, Jim has been terrific about setting up a roped-off enclave in the middle which is free of truck traffic and where kids can play in the sand. I'm sure he'll add to this as needed. There is also a lot of traffic just next to the water so a bit problematic for kids there too.

Anybody else have some advice pertaining to the young ones (besides keeping them out of the way of moving vehicles)?
Aside from safety, I want to make sure that this will be tolerable and enjoyable for the Cruiserless.
There are generally other kids around and as e999 says, Jim blocks off a big area that is off limits to vehicles.
People police the speed inside the camp area, pretty well.
The camaraderie is awesome, make sure you find our camp and say hi, it would be cool to meet you.
