Has anyone stayed at the Oceano campsites just before the Pier Ave. entrance?

We were planning to rent a tent trailer to see how we like it and wanted to setup camp just off the beach (wife's request this year)

Damon, if that is the case get her a room at The Sea Venture. Trust me. The food at the restaurant on third floor is killer, they have ab on the menu........

Thanks Pees... I will chek it out.

x1000 on make the :princess: happy by having her stay in a comfortable place not on the beach...

better for everybody... :)

going to try and make this prob in the ford and with the quad though no yota's right now

Talked with Jerry about the fridge sliders. Super cool and I have been waiting a year or so for him to get to production on them. Pricey a little but so cool. He has added a pull out table to the slide that makes them almost irrestistable.

I am getting one and FWIW that is a hell of a prize for SandChef. I am supporting Wooooody and hope he pulls it off. Go Ross..........................

cause i wont have a truck is it ok if i do the poker run on a quad? thanks james

Up dtrain, yes for the last 3 years we've stay at that camp grounds it cool the back loop will be mostly Toyota folks

When it comes to rooms, the Pacific Plaza, right near the entrance of the dunes is always nice and reasonable. We would usually get a room there on Sunday to remove sand from notable places.

thanks snailwagon... I saw that place... I agree with what you said. Keeping it in mind. We we thinking about a place close to downtown Pismo... then the wifey and kids got super stoked on camping. Back to plan A but should be super fun. We are going to hit oceano... guarantee of no whinning.

Aswesome. Thanks for the info. I went to the site to reservce a spot and will try to get as close to the back loop as possible. Are there any tricks to reserving that back loop area? THe site says something about "no guarantees about loction"... I could be reading it wrong though.

It's first come first serve..... Clean, trees around keep the sand/dirt down , hot showers bring flip flops and quarters

thanks a lot

For all your suggestion guys i already have checked out a few of the places you suggested.some really looks nice will check out some more.looking forward to this.
