Let me know Ting, I will be heading down on Friday evening, one way or another.

I don’t have good camping gears. Is this too cold to camp on the beach at night? Maybe, I will ask my wife, and baby to sleep in the car, while I camp outside.

plenty of people sleep in tents; i did last year. it's not too cold at all. however, just as a precaution, it's a good idea to set up the tent next to your rig to make a "wind shade' in case it gets windy. i'd put the tent inland from the rig as well.

Surf N Turf Sign Post

I pulled the Surf N Turf sign post out from under the house yesterday. We'll be setting up the post(s) with all the old signs.

Please bring a sign to point to your hometown, favorite TLCA event or local wheeling trail. We'll add it to the collection.

Please note, most of the wood signs you see on this photo are 5' to 6' feet long so a wood fence picket is ideal choice and can be purchased for a few dollars. Be sure that the letters are contrasting from the wood background for readability. If it has lettering on both sides, remember to leave a space for the 4-inch wide post on one side.

John, South bound on HWY 101, you can take the HWY 1 exit and go through "downtown" Pismo.

To everyone making Saturday departure plans...

Please note we have a special surprise activity one hour BEFORE the High Noon Poker Run. (that would be 11:00 AM Saturday)

Get an early start, you don't want to miss this.

Participating in this activity entitles you to a FREE Raffle Ticket and chance to win some cool prizes. The winners will be announced at the end of the Poker Run.

We don't have an evening raffle or anything formal. We will have a bonfire and some cool videos on the huge FJ Trail Team Jumbotron screen.

Now I want to get down there on Friday, late afternoon maybe

What time?

As I said, I will be able to leave at 3:30pm from Monterey if you wanna hook up for a mini caravan.

That would put me anywhere in Salinas to meet up at 3:50 - 4pm.

Let me know what you think.

Jeb

I should leave on Friday too. :) Why don't we all meet up at K-Mart parking lot at 4:00pm? I have another mudder from Gilroy want to caravan.

Hey Guys,

I haven't posted here in ages, but looks like my wife and I are gonna make SnT this year! We'll be driving up from LA on friday morning caravaning with the in-laws in their 4Runner. It will be great meeting everyone. I've only met a few people from the first So Cal 80 meet.

Looking forward to it!

Ed

Ok I have a stupid question.

I have a friend who was planning on tagging along with me, and he just told me that his girlfriend wants to come along too. Since I have a 40 and he doesn't want to subject his girl to riding in the jump seat for three hours or so, he was wondering if there was a place he could park for a couple nights (not on the beach), so he could drive up separately.

Honestly I don't care if it doesn't work because it doesn't affect me, but I said I'd ask.
