Super confused.... what can it be (1 Viewer)

1975 55.

So we were at the tire shop and they raised the car. We put it in first and the rear wheels started spinning ..... driver side really fast ( stepped on gas to 15 mph ) and passenger side I could stop with my bare hands (maybe 6 turns a minute).

What could be wrong?

True.... just that I got rid of my wife's wagoneer to get this and she has been giving me issues the whole time. (Wife and car). I was just like damn...wtf is this.

Yea...open diff. Why were you raising the truck up and putting it in gear and accelerating?

Yes like the others said. Nothing wrong.
Also, when a car is raised the suspension is sagging and you can be binding your driveshaft. Don’t do this.

I've never heard that before, not on properly designed or factory engineered suspension anyway.

Raised suspension should have been prefaced. My experience has been under load the U joint binds.

Wagoneer sold..... I fixed up this yj for her so that she wouldn't have to drive the land cruiser..... plan has not been a success so far

The real problem is that the wagoneer had a 383 v8... power to spare. The pig and the yj are slow. I might need to build her a 90s sport car or something
