Keep spare relays in your glove compartment or relocate your EFI relay or upgrade to the Camry EFI relay a la Jon Held. The heat from the exhaust manifold kills them at the most inoportune times. Usually it cooling down is enough to get it to start again.

The relays from parts stores are usually junk and will fail in short order. Do yourself a favor and pick up a couple of OEM ones. They are about $11 each.

Are you sure your plan from the beginning wasn't just for the two of you to get stuck in the middle of no where?

She's enjoys camping, wheeling, and the outdoors?! s***! Does she have a sister? I might have to trade my wife in! Lol
Anyways..... congrats! And best of luck to you both!

I've got some very good friends who are also land cruiser freaks that live in frisco. PM me if you are still stuck and I will see if I can link you up with them. One of them has owned almost every type of cruiser imported.

Check the fuel pump fuse under the hood. Check all of your fuses first. This image is from a 94:

That image is from a 91, and there is no "fuel pump fuse". It's called the EFI fuse as pointed out in the picture. It supplies power to the ECU and all associated EFI sensors as well as the fuel pump when the engine is running through the EFI relay.

As @Tools R Us pointed out, when you turn the key to the ON position before cranking the starter, the CEL must illuminate. This tells you that the EFI system is in a ready state.
