They stole the stock 1988/89 stereo? That is weird. So happy you got your rig back in mostly one piece! Huge bummer about the bumpers and peripherals but at least those can be replaced more easily than the cruiser itself.

BE ON THE LOOK OUT FOR THIS BUMPER! (HOWEVER, I HAVE A FEW IN THE SOCAL AREA)

I have several detailed pics and welds are like handwriting... Very distinctive. If you see a rig with this bumper let us know. If you see a bumper like this on an UNKNOWN rig (especially if not a known MUD member/rig) Take pics and send to me or Mike.

I want this prick bad!

Thanks Man.
Will keep an eye out for Bumper and those distinctive Welds.
Nice BTW!

What's up with the skidplate for the fuel filler neck hanging down? Surely, they didn't cut the hose since the tank has a drain plug.

Glad you got your truck back. Sorry they stole so much off of her. Hopefully, you'll be able to get her back together soon.

Not sure how long is sufficient to wait to see if this turns up....but I'd be happy to take part in a collection to help replace the rear bumper/tire carrier if it doesn't show up.

Ya know, as much as I love to see welds like that, I hate them just as much, because they remind me how much my self taught garage welds suck.. Beautiful work. Will be on the lookout.

I want to know how that Domino's Caddy got impounded. There HAS to be a story there.

Reevesci, no more of your dirty dirty weld porn! ;) I have to take a shower now.

Great news! I had a truck stolen 2X years ago and know how it feels to lose it and get it back. The second time mine did not come back, that was many many years ago though.

The fact that the factory stereo was stolen tells me that the thief is probably in the LC Community. No common thief would know the value of that stock stereo and would surely just pass on stealing it. Keep your eyes out everyone.

I'm on CL almost everyday and looking for LC and Toyota related parts i will for sure would recognize an ARB bumper and @reevesci bumper.
Most of the parts can be replaced and i hope whoever did it Karma will get you thats for sure.

@reevesci would it be too much to put stamped serial numbers on these bumpers?

It can be done. I know a few of the Rover fabricators weld a numbered plate in a hidden location. My laser guy will be at the house tomorrow to drop off some goodies and look at a ton of other items. I'll ask if they can start etching/engraving a # on the inside or the shell somewhere when they are cutting the parts.

Can't cost too much..

^^^ That would be awesome, maybe last 8 of the VIN or plates perhaps. Laser etched would be cool.

This is a great idea. Folks fork over the same sort of cash on firearms, and there is a serial number there for a reason. Great selling point in my book..

Interesting that somebody just removed a crossmember eh?

What do you think?...
FJ60 & FJ62 Landcruiser - Rear Cross member, Tow hitch, Battery tray
Not too far from u right? Could he be selling hitch because he just got a new bumper?

Just picked up the truck, and it's back in my hands. Thank you all so much for the support!

The truck itself is alright, no damage. The wheels and tires are still on it as is the suspension.

The front bumper, winch, lights, my on board air system, optima battery, stereo, and recovery gear are gone. So is, most dishearteningly, @reevesci 's new rear swing out bumper and my matching spare.

The interior is torn up now as they stole the radio (stock) and all the wiring.

But at least I have it back.
