A new one is like $60. I had to buy one. Not from launching it out into the driveway, the original one was chewed up when I got my truck. They come molded in the correct body color, no painting required.

Anyone want to sell me the Blaze Pearl hitch cover they no longer use? I destroyed mine when I closed my garage door.

You can have my magnetic grey one for cost of shipping...and then just paint it as Toyota does...

Where can I get one for $60?

Getting new tires mounted in a few days. Is there any reason why I should not have the tire shop check and or adjust the alignment in my 2008?
Have 2-3" Icon lift with UCAs
Going from 34.4 (315/70/17) down to 33.8 (295/70/17)

I am thinking that it may be more complicated to align with the lift and adjustments in the UCA. True/false?

BTW, have never used this shop before. Just found them via tirebuyer as close by with decent reviews.

McGeorge Toyota Online Parts. 52169-60070-A0 is Super White. $60.19

Thanks. Didn't realize they were that inexpensive. Mine didn't have one on it when I bought it. I run a hitch mount bike rack most of the year, but will be nice to have this on for the winter months.

Ended up purchasing from Camelback Toyota (Free Shipping if you spend $150+ and 3% off with TWPartz (Tacomaworld coupon). I needed to get new brakes and rotors so picked them up at the same time along with some TRD oil filters.

I wouldn't trust a tire shop to adjust UCAs.
Thanks, that's where I was coming out as I wrote the question. Interested in other Mudders' opinions, but I think I'll skip having them check the alignment too and take it somewhere else that caters to these kinds of trucks. Problem is they are an hour+ drive. Based on my local dealer's inability to identify a problem with the parking brake, not sure I'm going there either.

Is there a way to Bluetooth stream music from an Android phone to the factory head unit in a 2009 LC?

My Bluetooth works for calls (poorly) but can't find a way to stream audio from my phone apps like Spotify. Kinda surprised since most cheapo aftermarket head units have had this feature for years.

Also where is the microphone located for Bluetooth calling in the LC? People can't hear me very well and the call quality is generally very poor. When I disconnect Bluetooth the call is Crystal clear on my phone. Never had this issue with my 4Runner or Tacoma.

on the LC, it wasnt until 2011 that factory BT music device streaming was added. Prior to that, was just BT phone functionality. there are many options to retrofit see: Vais Technology SL3b Bluetooth interface adapter install for 08 lc200

also mic location pic attached from the owner's manual:

Can you install that BT adapter AND the Nav/DVD override module together?

I'm wondering if they require the same ports to hookup and are mutually exclusive

Kind of a general question. How long is a car battery good for just sitting there without being charged? My 14 LC had a new battery installed 12/16, but then I pulled it out in 03/17 to install an AGM Interstate battery. I now have an 08 LX with a battery that’s about 5 years old, so I was thinking about replacing it with the LC battery that was new one year ago. I’m sure it’s dead of course just sitting in the garage, but after charging it up could it be a reliable battery again? I wouldn’t be surprised if some cells are damaged or dead from not being charged for so long, but I have no idea.

I don't know the answer for sure, but I can give you a data point. My '16 LC was sitting on the showroom floor for 9 months. It only had 36 miles on it in all that time so it definitely wasn't being driven. They had to put a new battery in it for me since the original was dead. Now, I don't know if the original wouldn't hold a charge or if they just gave me a new one as a precautionary measure.

Also, once I stopped driving my Jeep after getting the Toyota its battery went to crap pretty quickly, but it wasn't new when I parked it.

So...that was probably no help...but there you go. :)

Really depends on the battery and the temperature.

I have a Panasonic battery from my old FJ in ‘06 that sat in my garage till earlier this year... it fired up my 200, just barely, but it did it.

That not really the case most of the time. I’d say about 3 years for most.

They tend to sulfate over time however there ways to de sulfate them at least partially. Google-fu
