So what's the new crawl ratio with 5.29s, under drive, low range and part time with a auto setup you ask?

1st gear × Low Range x 5.29s
2.804 3.12 5.29 = 46.2794592 x 2(Torque Convertor) = 92.5589184

1sr gear x Under drive Low Range x 5.29s
2.804 3.317 5.29 = 49.20159172 x 2(Torque Convertor) = 98.40318344

Getting close to a mini truck with dual 228s.
3.83 2.28 2.28 5.29 = 105.32322288

But no where near a mini truck duals with a 4.7 crawl box.
3.95 2.28 4.7 5.29 = 219.0057355

But the 80s pretty close (98) to that 105 dual 228s!!!

Plus engine torque x3 probably.

Nice work Dude

Been working really slowly again. Need to crank this out faster since Rubithon is weeks away.

Stabbed in today.

Removed a brand new oem pinion seal. Only lasted 1 trip before leaking.

Replaced it with a Marlin eco seal. That should keep it dry for a long time.

Put on both shafts and bolted up the ironpig xmember. Went for a quick drive around the block and its a noticeable improvement in torque and power in high range. Feels like I got smaller tires again. Low range from what little you can tell on pavement seems slightly slower. Love it. No more weird growling noises now.

You installed the oem seal improperly. The originals lasted ................ how long? The oem I installed a year and a half ago or so in the front pinion no leaky.

It’s a land Cruiser they likes to spit out none OEM parts. 🤷‍♂️

"Raced" @petwhookie earlier. Slowest one wins. My 80 beat him by a car distance. We crawled it in low low for 30 feet.

He's currently on 37s 4.56 under low range.
I'm at 39s 5.29s under low range.

He's going 5.29s in the next few weeks. He should be able to crawl slightly slower than me as he has 37s and will take more revolutions to turn than my truck.

That be a good test to see how much slower from 37s to 39s. We will have essentially the same gearing otherwise when we "race" next.

make sure his AC is on and your ebrake is on the first click

Bent my antirock arms slightly inward toward frame. Originally I pressed them flat to clear the frame. However the heim on the passenger was barely touching the inner sidewall on full stuff. No damage, just rubbed off some dirt. I pressed both arms maybe 2cm so there's no chance it will contact again on full stuff.

I also finally did my dissy oring and oil level float oring. Thats the last of my oil leak job. Should be dry for a long time now.

Bent my Trail Tailor rear link arms at Rubicon 2 weeks ago. Replacing them with Metaltech.

Not sure why when I knew I could fix these arms. Oh well. The Trail Tailors are bent back perfectly and I will reinforce it and weld on a RuffStuff Tube Plate. That should be a total of 1/2 thick.

Thinking about selling the Trail Tailor to recoup some cost or maybe installing them on the Turbo80.

Also bent my Slee tie rod bar ar Rubicon.

This bend was significant and took a lot more press work to get it close enough. I will keep this as a spare bar.

I have brand new weld on bungs for my 1.5 .25 wall Ruffstuff bar. Cutting to length and welding on shortly!

Need to weld my hydro tabs to my Ruffstuff clamp for double shear strength

The MT rear lower links use a 1.25” shank JJ as opposed to TT using the 1” shank JJ. You took a step in the right direction in my opinion.

Tie rod welded and painted. Ready for remount as soon as it dries.

Trail Tailor now reinforced with Ruff stuff tube plate. Total thickness is now 1/2 thick.

Wondering if I should reinstall these onto Crawler80 and move the Metaltech onto Turbo80.

Or just sell the Trail Tailors to recoup some money

New tie rod bar in with new hydro clamp installed.

Did a lot of work today. Still need to remove 30mm spacers and install my front RCV 300Ms.

Rear 300Ms are still back ordered.

Also rewelded a broken exhaust hanger. I will do a frame over exhaust after Rubithon event. That will be enough time to get that done before Sierratrek event.

Removed 30mm spacers from front and rear. before and after shots of measurements.

RCV 300M installed in front. Those stocks did 1 trip at Rubicon with 39s. Impressive how they hold up to massive tires.

300m rear still on back order. Waiting for them.... Wont be here in time for Rubithon though.

Otherwise she's ready again for the Con again after repairs.

While I was under the truck yesterday yanking out the 30mm spacers. I flexed it out as much as possible. My currie antirock heims still barely contact the inside of the sidewall. Might need to press in the arms 1 more cm. However, it barely contacted prior when they were flat pressed.

I'm probably over thinking it.

Looks tight in there, if you bend it away from the tire any more you may start rubbing on the frame ?
