If things go good and work out between my kid wanting to take summer classes we may want to show up for this. Kid friendly, daddy drunk, kinda thing? Never mind the previous post answers that.

Haha well I try and watch my language...but fair warning I am loud and crude when I drink a lot...if some other guys go who dont really frequent the site, they have kids and what not so it is kid friendly

^^^^ Reason why i'm not bringing my kids to this trip,Just kidding Kyle.

Well, my handle gives it away for me. I'm a family guy. I will most likely have 2 or more, less than 4 kiddos. Ages 3-6. I usually keep the drinking nominal until they go to bed :grinpimp:  but I also don't head out to the wilderness for a nightclub experience. ;)

I'm looking forward to this trip! Considering bringing my 2.5 year old but we shall see...

Daddy drinks.

Well hopefully this is a successful trip and we can make it a yearly thing! Dont worry the heavy drinking occurs after dark along with the fun nsfw stories around a fire. We just need to find a campsite

^^^ Amen to that...

This is why I suggested those other spots for possible camp spots that are just off of a paved road. There are plenty of trails nearby to play on during the day.

I like the spots you suggested. If i bring my kid (which i probably wont) or my friend (who drinks like a 2.5 year old) i'll need some tent space. But it looks like there's room to spread out.

I'll drag you up ;)

Nooooooooooo. Little Deer Lake is on the Snake Lake trail loop. It's a very difficult trail.

I know that its on the snake lake loop, I was just curious about the section that goes from summit lake to little deer lake. Im not interested in running the snake lake loop.

We got into trouble trying to get down to Little Deer Lake once when there was still snow. We got through/past a couple drifts easily enough in the downhill direction, but after getting turned around by a drift that was more like a snow field in my stocker fj40 the uphill direction was pretty sketchy. We tried some rock and log stacking to alleviate a roll-over-potential section with no luck. I ended up having to turn off the trail and go cross country a hundred yards or so. It was pucker factor combined with being some miles from anyone who cared.
