Those are over $100k as well...why anyone would spend that on a dumb vehicle like that is beyond me

Saw this 71 Demon at Robinson Secondary this morning. Man....my high school car was a Dodge Colt 3 door 4 speed with vinyl seats. Times sure have changed.

Damn. I didn’t even see something like that there in the 80’s when it was 35 years closer to new. Your Colt is a different story!

I wonder if the truck kids still climb the hill near the short little connector to Roberts Rd? It was always rutted out from all the Scouts and full size dodges and such.

 That's funny, even when I was in high school that would get your car impounded or a for sure ticket from the police. There is no gentle policing anymore in Arlington, Fairfax, or Alexandria...I had friends who were just drinking in got a court date. No more phone call to parents and just a tut tut don't do that again from the police

I grew up in Manassas and to hear stories of how things used to be out there, really gives the Mayberry vibe.
Spent time with kids from Clifton when i was in high school and they definitely have the small town feel in regards to knowing everyone, even though Fairfax is a giant cesspool - I mean...sprawling place...

Too fast, too furious

Not as fast and furious as average Altima drivers

There is a FB group called "BAE: Big Altima Energy" and every post captures the seemingly endless dumpster fires that are altima owners.
ALL TRUE.
They are popular for use shoplifting from the Dollar store too.

My son was pulling into the dollar store in southern Fauquier county when a Altima almost ripped the front of his car off getting out of the lot with thier 4 cases of beer.
If I feel like it I may call my insurance to see how bad the premiums are for one of these- maybe a 2009

I can't imagine it being much at all if you have a semi-decent driving record. They are kind of a disposable car. Kind of like Ford Escorts, Hyundai excels, Kia anythings or Dodge Neons. they all have purged themselves from the community by just breaking down.
