Not sure which job is harder getting the windshield with the key in or trying to get your hands behind the glove box to access the holes in a nut plate getting the door strikers in. Glad they are both over!

Yeah that nut plate is a tough reach. I made sure to do those early in the process on my truck. Your truck is coming along nicely. I look forward to seeing the finished product soon.

F Engine completely rebuilt and back together (also transmission & transfercase). All that is left is for Toyota Matt to rebuild choke & throttle cable. Ready to install oil and check oil pressure.

Can I send you some OEM hose clamps :)

Had a friend over to help me today (hold fire extinguisher) (actually he was over engine while I stood back) anyway...... after 30 years idle for the first time it ran today. I even took it down the street. (Subdivision loved that only a straight pipe currently).

@Wadesters What an unreal restoration! Such a beauty. Would you mind posting(or PM) pics of your throttle linkage behind the oil filter canister? My rig came with the original SD40 carb but the PO installed a Weber. I'd like to take it back to stock but I believe my linkage is all out of whack in order to make it work with the Weber.

- more to come ,.....

- these restored cables will take a several additional production days to complete then originally discussed do to both D-Groove shafts being twisted , and warped significantly more then described during our live Tech. Hot line 411 we had ....fyi

@ToyotaMatt Thank you for your kind comments on this project. Glad my cable restore is progressing. The part number you reference that I am lacking did not come on this truck no hazard switch
