Well maybe not after reading all the posts. Id need more pics. Im looking for a pig though. Im no body expert and have looked at a few but don't know how to rate how bad the rust is. Any help? Top of windshield posts at roof? Wheel wells? Any info would be great, sorry such a newbie. Would love to talk to somebody who knows some about the costs of restorecting a pig. Thanks to whoever is compelled to help a hog dog.

for rust issues you want to look in the drip rail area along the roof above and below fenders rockers floors under body mounts those are some of the worst places see if the rear window works check for bondo for sure it as a shine paint job i would assume someone is trying to hide bondo under there buy a motor off of here that is running and go that way or swap it for a diesel

Yea so like I said Ive seen a few. I live in the DFW Texas area. People seem to be awful proud of them and I think many Ive seen are overpriced. I guess most all have some rust around the back of fenders, drip rail, rockers, and floorpans. Is it costly to have these areas replaced with new metal? Ive seen a few that obviously have some bondo on the body but the motor, interior, and chasis look to be in good condition along with all the extras I like like roof rack, warn hubs and winch, and lighting. I just don't know what is a reasonable price to pay for a good pig. I don't want a perfect one, but one I can drive daily and to the lease. Any more responses?
