Makes sense. Sounds like your reputation is getting around. Very cool!

You work 8-5 M-F? Busy man!

Thanks.

Yeah, I still have my engineering job, the small engines only require an extra our or two of work per day.

My lawyer is gonna get me an LLC set up, and then I may actually advertise instead of relying on word of mouth.

Yes. You may not see your shop for a hot Memphis minute

Very cool that you've turned a passion and a hobby into a little side cash.

Fixed this Briggs 5hp quantum yesterday. Needed a new fuel tank and and carb rebuild.

The owner was so pleased that she gave me another mower to work on. It took me only a few minutes to realize that the Air Vane Spring was missing from the carb. I went ahead and ordered a replacement off of Amazon. It only takes about 15 seconds to install a new one too.

Hey, @offr0adlim0 , can I still have that old mower you told me about that is at your shop?

Big day today. Got 5 calls!!!

I rebuilt a carb and replaced the air vane spring from yesterday.

Rebuilt the self propelled mechanism on a Honda.

Gave an old Toro a refresh: new oil, balanced and sharpened blade, cleaned out the air filter, and tightened up the self propelled mechanism.

Got caught up on my work from yesterday and got 4 more calls today. I am staying on top of things too.

Rebuilt a briggs carb.

Refurbushed a Kohler.

Rebuilt a Honda/Troy Build self-propelled mechanism.

Rebuilt a Honda carb.

Mine does too. Luckily, I can spare an extra 30 seconds or so every single day.

Worked on these two Honda engines this weekend; I love these things!

Got a 6hp Craftsman pressure washer yesterday. The owner has a lot of sentimental value attached to it; belonged to her deceased father. It needs more work than it is probably worth, but she is persistent that I give it a try. Will need new fuel lines, new plug, new magneto, and a full carb rebuild. Could also need a new pump assembly. I'll be at least $125 in labor.

Had a pretty big morning.

I submitted my paperwork for my LLC.

My NAICS codes include 811411, 321918, and 332313, which includes home and garden equipment and repair, millwork (I plan on making and selling porch swings), and plate work manufacturing (welding and fab work on LCs)

I have been working on a company logo, but due to OPSEC, I will not post it here.

Out of curiosity I picked up a can of this at Tractor Supply.
is this good to use on older small engines?

I was hoping it would help the smoking on startup on my 17hp Kawasaki.

It only smokes about 1 out of 5 -8 startups for a 10 secs or so.

Engine is 15+ yrs old...

I am not familiar with it.

I have had great success with SeaFoam though.
