They're trying to workout new suppliers to bring us better, more uniform products. Who knows maybe he can get us better deals afterwards, however with rising production costs I'll be happy if everything can just hold it's ground.

how much is the bumper going to cost?

from a few posts up.

I am currently on vacation, but the pre-production model that was on my truck has been removed and send back to the fabricators so that the jigs can be made and the final tweaks resolved. We had to make a small change so that it interfaces with the skid plates better.

I know it is slow, but that is the nature of the game. That is one of the big reasons we do not take pre-orders or announce pricing until we are ready.

Wow, I like the originality if nothing else. I haven't seen anything like that here in Oz. I am a little bit reserved on the front bar but I like the fact that it is different from all the readily available options. I reckon an optional easily removed cover that disguised the open mouth look would be worth considering. maybe someone can do some photo shop editing to give an idea (I would but I don't know how) Great effort though.

I love the idea of the ladder on the rear bar. I have to say that I think it looks a bit ugly, but geeze what a great concept. I hate that perilous climb up over the spare wheel onto the roof rack and the side mount ladders are useless.

Thanks to Christo and all the guys and gals at Slee for givng us some more options.

That sure is one nice design and one nice product.. Great work. Just went through all picture in the thread. Would love to see more..

so...ehm.... I quess I don't even need to ask.. just pass the dutch guy a Slee frontbumper, backbumper and the diff drop. I mean we are practically family. Slee.. don't you forget your roots... :D

Can we get a timeframe on when this bumper is going to release? Its the only thing holding me back from getting a sahara bar

OK, here is the update. This has been by far the most frustrating development we have ever done. But enough of that, we are now on the right truck. This is a picture of a pre-production bumper. The price is going to be around $1300 depending on what we have to supply to make the solenoid boxes for Warn winches work, as well as possible trim gaskets for the front valence. As it is, we have to supply extension cables etc etc. It will come powder coated black with license plate bracket, solenoid mount bracket and all hardware required to mount.

I know this is a long time in the making, but believe me we are trying our best to get it to market as soon as possible. We have to make one more bumper before we run the production versions.

wait a second, is that........did.....that's not your old truck is it!?!?!? It's gotta be, Joes doesnt have a snorkel/rack and has clear corners. Where's that thing been hiding?

Oh ya, bumper looks sweet!

Do you have an ETA on when you would be shipping them.

Any ideas on costs for shipping by zones?

Weight?

I am sure it was covered, but will there be a option for the 9006 fog lights to bolt in?

Can't wait.

Shane

the fog lights wont bolt in. Having the lights in the face would reduce the bumpers strength. It was discussed in this thread somewhere in the middle. There are mounting tabs on the hoop for lights
