Yea, it's a pre-cleaner with a massive air filter in the blue canister. Multiple points for separating dirt/dust/ etc from air intake. Found a giant moth in the filter collection - some how he made it passed the pre-cleaner.

Pre-cleaners are only $50 i think, don't recall the maker but they're on ebay and amazon. The rest of the set-up is a mystery for parts, I'll take a closer look and see what i find. I think HJ47 (patches) had an extension put on to move the pre-cleaner to roof top level for more river fording ability.

So the pre-cleaner is the tank. Then you have your snorkel assembly on top of the precleaner. Is there a way you can take some inside shots of the engine compartment where its hooked up and also some different angle shots of the unit itself and I will try and make one. Very nice looking LC...I've been drooling all over it all morning.

No. The pre-cleaner is the cap on top of the "tank".

pre-cleaner

yea, pre-cleaner is the round bit on top - instead of a air ram like a safari snorkel the dust is is spun and caught in the yellowish looking container while the air goes into the tank which contains an air filter then to air intake on engine.
