Pulled my top to make it easier to drop the Trans&TC for rebuild. Pretty sure this top had never been off, all the hardware looked untouched! Swapped the wheels from my earlier pic back onto my FJ60 and have correct steel wheels and caps on the 40 now. Looking forward to Spring to drive around topless!

Do you have overhead rigging gear? If not, in the past I have found it handy to have the doors closed, windows down, and put lumber across them and hang a come along to lower the gear boxes.

I do, there's an I beam overhead in my shop with a chain hoist. Made it an easy job.

Ex wife with a drinking problem is what happened to it. She wasn’t badly injured. Left the beach highway at speed and flipped it.
