It's hard to wash (does not bother me much).

I used the cheap Herculiner, no UV protection, so it thins over time. Every 8 or 10 years I roll another coat on...the roof did tend to get warm in the summer, hence the white top. Had some paint left over and Ige got drunk and put the stripe on.

But, I find it very functional. When I rub up against a rock or a tree and scrape it off, I get another small can and patch it up.

It hides body damage quite well and I think it looks good. I do get quite a few comments on it.

That's exactly what I was hoping to hear...well maybe not the singing...but definitely the rest.

I new it would be harder to wash
I'm not going with a dark color because I'd been warned about the heat factor. Right now in primarily considering red and white in the classic two tone pattern or possibly a solid like desert tan
I've only ever seen one or two body liner vehicles in person but I really like the look, and the being able to bang around in the woods without making the pig look like she'd just made sweet love to a porcupine is a plus in my book.

Alright, I have held back long enough.

Just paint the Pigs Panther Pink and be done with it!

Has anyone ever looked at the 3M wrap product for their Pig? (they have pink) It looks like a lot less prep than paint, and a lot faster to finished product. I am thinking about it for my DD which has a dying clear coat on it. They had some cool satin/semi-gloss finishes. I think a semi-gloss Dune Biege would be sweet...

I found this one around the corner from my house on an Avocado Ranch. Lived on the Ranch since 1974 then the owner restored it Black. It used to be Green / White. No rust / 98k original miles on it / original interior / very dry cruiser / under carriage very good shape.
