Hey! Some green Land Cruisers are nice....

Oh, and to the OP.....yes, of course you should buy that 80!

What Land Cruiser?

But seriously, that is a completely different (in a cool way) green than the horrible 80 green. Second worst color on an 80 behind burgundy. Full disclosure: I own a horrible green 80. It's awful.

Hmm. I like green. The burgundy...that's a different matter. However, burgundy 80 better than no 80.

I dont know. I think the blue i have seen is the worst. Then the crummy green. And i also own a green one. I would love a white or silver one. If i ever do a color change it will be to that classic tan the 80s came in. Best color ever.

I have one in Champagne, and one in white. I really like both.

Burgundy gets lots of hate, I'm not sure why.

I own a burgundy and I've been asked before if I've re-painted the car as the paint looks very good... I don't mind the red.
I don't mind the green either, not a big fan of that midnight blue deal.

White is the best, and of course champagne is a good second, and I really appreciate that sand color often seen in the regulated arab state's lcs.

but any color 80 is better than no 80 :D

Green is where its at! I also wouldn't kick burgundy out of bed if it was well kept.

Green and Burgundy were my top choices when looking for an LC. lol Settled for a black LX.

My birfs in my 93 have been clicking for 30k miles. Meh. Not a priority.

I'll say what I always say:

"I've never regretted a Land cruiser I've purchased. Only the ones I didn't. (And the ones I've sold.)"

I just thought this was just the giddy up

I think I don't like the green and burgundy because they remind me of Eddie Bauer edition Explorers. Colors that were marketed as "outdoorsy" to suburbanites. I worked for Eddie Bauer back in 1994 and had a company Eddie Bauer Explorer. I was forced to drive that thing instead of my 80 Series.

Admittedly, I always feel a little bad when I mock burgundy because @hamishpotter seems like a good dude and has a nice burgundy 80. But I don't feel THAT bad.

Shoot @LS1FJ40 in one post you just ruined my nearly fully restored appreciation for my 'cabernet' 80 - I also did not like those Explorers, and I think they did that to Outbacks as well

I agree red and green are a bit , except that my 80 was so mint from Albuquerque that I put my money on burgundy and have not regretted it. I can always paint it, I've considered it, but I love what's on the *inside* enough not to mind ; )

I don't blame you man. I always said I would buy a burgundy, green, or black 80. Bought the first California 80 I came across that was locked. It is green and looked and smelled like raccoons had an orgy in it. But she's rust free and was $2400 so I look past her ugliness. Plus I was feeling lazy. So I decided to "go ugly early"!

What is this, a fashion show? Who gives a crap what color it is. Mine is about 50% white, 25% various shades of beige touch-up paint and 25% rust (which actually compliments both colors fairly well) :hillbilly:

Almost green

So did this guy but the truck?
Not on picture, just a bunch of Internet jousters circle jousting about colours or cars?

Who cares if he bought it?!?! I just came here to joust! I still have my 80s...my life hasn't changed!

This! I got my newest into my work parking garage today and I'm psyched about that. It's the little things. Those concrete supports were close, whew!
