Brad - can you fit two OEM switch slots into the ashtray location? I would love to have another switch bezel that fits in there
This! And a single in the cig. Lighter location!

Seems like it would be easy to rotate 90 degrees in the software. We could also then use them in a vertical slot to the left of the steering wheel as well.
Making the change is CAD is super easy. Few minutes of work at most. My issue is that I can barely keep up with orders. I just can't release any new products until after the holidays. At that point I already committed to a 1/2 dozen products. I will definitely look into all the requests but it will be around February before I can get to new projects. These holidays have been insane. I'm used to 2-3 orders a day and not 20-30 that I have been getting. My machines and new employees are getting worked to death.

I'm already on to batch 4 with batch 5 printing now. I will continue to make them until they slow way down. At that point I will just do an occasional batch.Makes sense. Although seems like a good problem to have.
Edit: Just placed an order. Although I feel for you as it sounds like you might be a little overworked, I'm also a little afraid you might run out and decide not to do another run...lol
If not too late, I would love to have one of these also.

that's a lot of weight for those little tabs. I'm very interested to see how this works out.
I am in for one as well. I will get the retro 4 wheel drive and cup holder at the same time. Thanks for offering great products!
that makes sense. I'm glad you figured out a way to make it work for your needs.Agreed! When I remove it to replace the short screw I'll post a shot of the bracket on the back. The way the bracket joins the two blanks together it tightens it up on the bezel's center strut and holds very well. The stress is more on the two screws holding the bezel in place than the blanks, but even that is mitigated by the overall shape of the bezel fitting tightly into the dash. I know it looks iffy, but I have a lot of confidence in it.
That looks pretty stable. I love seeing other uses for my stuff. I'm working on a phone mount for the bezel right now. I have gone through a few prototypes and will have something to show you guys after the holidays.View attachment 1179202 View attachment 1179203 View attachment 1179204
Here's how the bracket fits, takes all the strain off the tabs and puts it on the center post and frame of the bezel. Feels very sturdy! Should you ever make a blank bezel I might consider purchasing it to take the tabs out of the equation, but for now I think this will last the long haul.
Are you caught up and producing these inserts again? I don't see them on your Web site. I need one ASAP.
