Brad - can you fit two OEM switch slots into the ashtray location? I would love to have another switch bezel that fits in there

This! And a single in the cig. Lighter location!

Seems like it would be easy to rotate 90 degrees in the software. We could also then use them in a vertical slot to the left of the steering wheel as well.

Making the change in CAD is super easy. Few minutes of work at most. My issue is that I can barely keep up with orders. I just can't release any new products until after the holidays. At that point I already committed to a 1/2 dozen products. I will definitely look into all the requests but it will be around February before I can get to new projects. These holidays have been insane. I'm used to 2-3 orders a day and not the 20-30 that I have been getting. My machines and new employees are getting worked to death.

Makes sense. Although seems like a good problem to have. ;)

Edit: Just placed an order. Although I feel for you as it sounds like you might be a little overworked, I'm also a little afraid you might run out and decide not to do another run...lol

Don't worry, we have more for you ! :D

Merry Christmas and hope you get some time with fam while your printers do their thing. ;)

I'm already on to batch 4 with batch 5 printing now. I will continue to make them until they slow way down. At that point I will just do an occasional batch.

If not too late, I would love to have one of these also.

Based on the above post, it would seem that you can just jump on his site and order one.

Yep. Order on his web site

Here's the current status of my unauthorized Ram Mount phone-holder install.

I took a RAM 2 7/16" X 1 5/16" base and with my cutoff wheel grinded it down to fit the height of the bezel. I drilled holes in the blanks and bolted the base to it. Its solid on the blanks, but I'm going to either glue them in place or add a brace across the back to reinforce. Then I installed the bezel and clipped a Ram Universal X-Grip to the base. Still need to paint the bare metal on the Ram base.

Only issue I have is the screw on the right side of the bezel into the dash isn't long enough to bite. Going to replace it with a longer wood screw tomorrow unless y'all have any advice for me.

I'll let y'all know how it holds up, and I'll post better photos during the day.

that's a lot of weight for those little tabs. I'm very interested to see how this works out.

Agreed! When I remove it to replace the short screw I'll post a shot of the bracket on the back. The way the bracket joins the two blanks together it tightens it up on the bezel's center strut and holds very well. The stress is more on the two screws holding the bezel in place than the blanks, but even that is mitigated by the overall shape of the bezel fitting tightly into the dash. I know it looks iffy, but I have a lot of confidence in it.

I am in for one as well. I will get the retro 4 wheel drive and cup holder at the same time. Thanks for offering great products!

Hi Brian, I finally got around to ordering the bezel, cup holder and 4 wheel drive plate. Don't rush to get them out, after Christmas is fine.

Merry MUD Christmas to you!

that makes sense. I'm glad you figured out a way to make it work for your needs.

Here's how the bracket fits, takes all the strain off the tabs and puts it on the center post and frame of the bezel. Feels very sturdy! Should you ever make a blank bezel I might consider purchasing it to take the tabs out of the equation, but for now I think this will last the long haul.

That looks pretty stable. I love seeing other uses for my stuff. I'm working on a phone mount for the bezel right now. I have gone through a few prototypes and will have something to show you guys after the holidays.

Are you caught up and producing these inserts again? I don't see them on your Web site. I need one ASAP.

I made two prototype phone mounts for the new bezel and shipped them out a couple weeks ago. I should have pics of the phone mount installed with some good feedback really soon.

Here's an early rough prototype of my idea. This was not the final design I shipped out for pics but you guys can at least see what I was thinking. I always prototype in white to better see features but the final design will be in black to match the bezel.

Thanks for the link...order placed!
