I don't smoke, don't drink in bars, don't go to titty bars, don't eat out and don't go to movies already so none of those things are gonna help me save the extra150+ in gas it would cost to go. Sucks to be at the low end of middle class and I just spent a ton$$$ on some home improvements. 2 more years and my girl starts kindergarten, that will be a $400 a month raise right there. We got lucky, good daycare only $100 a week. Other people pay a lot more. So honestly gas prices do influence me right now. I filled up my cruiser on Thursday at 2.66 and have only put 28 miles on that tank so far. The next fill up will be well over $3 a gal. Zoe's 3rd Bday party is in 2 weeks so I have a choice, jumping castle for the kids or tank of gas for wheeling. I hope the kids like the castle :frown: :princess:
 
We are just kiddin with ya -

I don't go anyplace either - 128 miles to town - it costs $60 to drive to Flag and back for groceries!

There are no titty bars on the Rez - no bars period! Dish Network is next to go - try being a writer and on the low end of lower class...we do have one great perk! Cheap rent! $300 for a beautiful two bedroom two bath - federally subsidized because we are non-native on theRez - you can not buy/rent on a federal rez - just from the govt! Your tax dollars hardly at work!
 
hehe, settle down its all in fun. but yes it is my experience, when i dont have the cash for something i useually give up something else to help me get what i want,, if i had to choose between dinner and a movie over gas to go to the clean-up i choose the clean-up its a litle more important and the resuraunt will still be there.
but at least you've had a raise in income, i cant remember a raise since gas was around $1.50 gal.

After weeks of trying I have gotten no response from the FS. We need two meeting places. One for those coming up from the Payson side and one for those coming up from the Camp Verde side. Let's assume 9:00 AM at the Fossil Creek bridge, yes? Maybe a little later? I figure 2 hours travel time from East Mesa to Strawberry. I'll be in the Tacoma so I will have a small be to hauls stuff out with. I may be able to get a small trailer but am still unsure on that one. I will bring another large roll of bags and hopefully DD still has plenty left from the last cleanup.
