11.5 inches are gone, any more would have gotten me into cross member and more frame cutting so this is where we settled.

Love the new interior.

Sid

Sid,
I love the no visible means of roll control which combined with a very low rolling inertia will make this a handful to fly.

Ted,
When will your first test drive-flight be? Will you take some video for eager fans?

LOL Thanks, great picture

finally got "X" put in the roll cage after all this time. Hopefully I wont die in the thing now, or maybe ...

Pics of the bobbed camper shell? When did you do that?

like that do ya! The thought of 25 degrees and 30 mile an hour winds got me motivated late last week so I cut 'er up and made it fit. It was nice to have yesterday, toasty warm inside with the new heater workin' guuuud.

I'll get ya a few pics later today.

here ya go, cut 11.5 inches from the shell and had to shorten the soft sides an equal length.

time for an update. since we haven't wheeled a lot lately I've been adding meat to the bone.

so, swapped in replacement seats, holds my fat arse better. $23 each at p-a-p. Yes Dave, they still smell like Stacey :flipoff2:

added a little bed protection to guard against Dave's spotting skills and I'm here to tell ya they do work

then at Durhamtown i nearly took out my right front corner on the new trail so the bumper got a little more meat as well.

sooooo - when your turn signal or parking light bulbs need changing, you gotta pull the bumper now? Not trying to nitpick, just kinda "thinking out loud". Contrary to what it may sound like from what I just wrote, I really like it!

good point, I definitely like the look but is there room?

the thought wasn't lost in the process but I'll will worry about when the time comes.

It's a trail rig, you don't need turn signal or parking lights.

you've nailed the bottom line again Sid!

So if it's a trail rig, next time I see it, it should be on a trailer, right? Fat chance!

And if it doesn't need turn signals or parking lights, why spend all that time and effort protecting them??? Hmmmm??? hahahahahahahaha

(Just to reiterate, I still like the build Ted, just pullin your chain)
By the way, will I see you or anyone from GC up at GSMTR? I'll be up there Monday night at the latest probably.

it needs to remain street legal, anything i can do to prolong the inevitable crunching i'll do and i besides like my turn signals right where they are, therefore the effort! :flipoff2: what else would i do with my weekends if i didnt have a truck to fart with anyways?

GSMTR--YEP, there are a hand full of us coming up on thursday afternoon and staying till sunday,
