Great news for rain. Flooding...very familiar, in fact, @RevISK how's it looking over there around your 'hood?Rain in the area is great news, I just hope all beings are safe
Said the gold mountain fire got 1inch of rain on the north end of the fire. That’s awesome! But flooding is a great concern now.
Where I am at is fine but we’ve gotten a lot of rain.Great news for rain. Flooding...very familiar, in fact, @RevISK how's it looking over there around your 'hood?
We'll be in Telluride (and Ouray) next week (albeit a week or so early), unfortunately my window for SAS closed, but sooo looking forward to being there.
Here’s more info:

Ouray Mountain Sports Premier Gear Shop
Ouray Mountain Sports offers premium outdoor gear and expert advice for all your hiking, climbing, and camping needs in the heart of the Rockies. Elevate your adventureouraymountainsports.com
I plan to rent gear from this group. They are open till 6 pm and will let you pick up your gear the day before after 4 pm. The lady I spoke with is part of the Ouray Mountain Rescue group and thanked us as part of SAS, she knows us. The Lower Ferrata is open 8am to 4pm daily. It is free if you have your own gear. It cost about $45 to rent.
My plan is to do this early, then head up Governors Basin to Sydney Basin. Then head back to camp for the group photo.
@Mike Shull You should join us on Tuesday, I will not tell anyone if you cry like a little school girl! lol!
But can we re-set a bead with it

It's like climbing a ladder just hang from your ams push with your lags and move one clip at a time.I am planning to do Red Mountain pass on Tuesday unless my group wants to try and do both. I don’t know anything about climbing so you would have to teach me. Let’s see how Monday goes?
Me and Rob are all too ready to pack in some adventure then scurry back just as lineup begins for the photo!![]()

Does any one know what day the cruiseher is?
CruiserHer is on Thursday this year.Does any one know what day the cruiseher is?
I have a brand new never mounted 31x10.5x15 KO2 if anybody needs it. I bought it for $230 and will sell it for $230. It was delivered to my house on Friday. Thought I cancelled it, but I guess I didn’t. Ended up getting a KO3 locally.
Will bring to SAS if one of y’all want it. If not, I’ll return it. No worries.

I see a fb post yesterday accusing Telluride of dragging their feet and closing the road, that there wasn’t even a mudslide anywhere on Imogene.Just a thought here. With the mud slides, road closures, fires, etc. Has anyone thought about Beer Olympics in camp? Asking for a friend....
I am planning to be there, even if it is to sit around camp and look at all the cool Land Cruisers that will be there.
I saw that as well, one driver said they closed the road at 10:30a and he was done with the trail at 12:30p. He did not say which way he was traveling? Maybe the slide was behind him… idk.I see a fb post yesterday accusing Telluride of dragging their feet and closing the road, that there wasn’t even a mudslide anywhere on Imogene.
I have no idea what the truth is.
I will be there, there will be something to do!
