Safe travels to you and your lovely bride my friend.
See you there ! (maybe) This is the rig I'm taking this year. This is how it looked when I walked out of the shop tonight.. Looks Like I have a long weekend in stored. Hope those new gears set up easy.

Nice Rig Randy !! Looks out of place for you !
WAY TO CLEAN
Save travels & have a great time see you there next year.
It’s the only other sanctioned event I go to. First year I’m missing it after 8 years in a row.It looks like I need to go check out Cruise Moab one of these years if you all are going.
Thanks ! It's a change thats for sure. Had the leather seats re- done . It even smells new !! This one has tested my resolve and love for land cruisers. It was infected by shoddy work , Mild east coast rust and the problems caused by them. I'm almost past all the rust problems. Couple spots on the body could use some attention. Not sure If ill even address them . I'm even having to re-learn how to drive. It's on 33s. I haven't wheeled anything with small tires in 40 yrs haha .. Feels odd having to pay that much attention to your line choice. If I don't sell it before SAS I'll prob have it there . I don't see the LS being done in my white 1 any time soon . @Mikeshull here one for a t shirt hahahaNice Rig Randy !! Looks out of place for you !

I think you would really enjoy it and your rig is set up perfect for the harder trails I like to run.
For the most part I feel the same way.I love Moab and my 40 had been there dozens of times. That terrain is what inspired this build, but I also wanted to be able to drive it on the highway and be comfortable in CO. I generally stay away from off roading groups but I have learned that this is a good group to be with.
You can show me Sand Hollow and the Rubicon someday. I’ve never been anywhere in this Cruiser other than CO and Moab.

I am planning the same. I go up to the San Juans every year in in my GX around July/Aug. I've hit Black Bear and all the major trails except Imogene. Can't wait to go run them in the 80 to compare.Yeah, I'm probably headed out in mid June ~ July 2nd to the San Juans (hopefully trails are open then, I think they will since there was not much snow this year); I was out there 2 years ago during LCDC but had a rental Jeep so I'm familiar with everything but Imogene and Black Bear which we were not allowed to do in the rental.
Just hoping I can get it fixed up enough that I can depend on it for the 2400 miles to Durango and back + trail mileage.
I read that the Alpine Loop was totally open already!FYI, our neighbor said that Engineer Pass is open and I didn’t believe them, but check out this update from San Juan County on 4/9. It looks like Cinnamon is also open.
If you are coming out. I would Suggest Barrett Lake , Rubicon , Fordyce . All pretty close to each other .For the most part I feel the same way.
That’s why I only do SAS & CM
I try to get my Cruiser out on the trail at least once a month during the season.
CM keep the trail groups on the smaller side especially if you run the harder trails.
Happy to have you along on any of our runs.
I think there’s something in the works 2027 Rubicon/Fordyce your name was mentioned
It last minute but you welcome join us in
Sand Hollow next month.
I’m not coming out I’m a California Native. If you are coming out. I would Suggest Barrett Lake , Rubicon , Fordyce . All pretty close to each other .
