Hello SAS'ers.
For this event, we (Midnight Machineworks) will be offering a trail run on the second day which we will lead and stop along the way to do give the attendees a tech talk/setup analysis on their suspension. Plan on this being an all day run most likely on Tuesday so it doesn't collide with @RevISK s photo run. This will get as detailed (read nerdy) as you can handle so come prepared with questions. During the run we will cover the following topics:

1. Suspension overview and theory ( TIres, shocks, alignment, differentials, springs and spring rates).
2. Tire pressure setup
3. Demystifying compression and rebound settings
4. Test and tune during the run
5. Individualized feedback

I'd like to limit this to 8 trucks so we can give each of you the attention you deserve. Morning sessions will consist of the first few topics with afternoon sessions specific for each attendee. We will do this on a blue/green trail. Plan on bringing lunch. We will provide snacks and trailside prizes along the way. We will aim this to beginners and more experienced drivers alike. Please PM me if interested, first come first serve.

Cheers, James

I was thinking about doing Black Bear and Imogene on Tuesday but I can be flexible on our dates. Were you planning to run with us again? I have 5 trucks confirmed already.

Since yall are mentioning days for certain trails, what is the sign up situation like? How does that work?

There will be a board at HQ with leaders noted for each day and what trails they are running. @POTATO LAUNCHER can provide better details though as there might be a different approach this year.

Hello Mike, Yes, we can run Black Bear with you and can tail gun if you need that. We'll probably just do it in the 75.

Awesome. I’ll count you in, of course being flexible depending on how trail enrollment works. I like to plan these longer days in advance so thanks for joining the group early.

@Ditcherman already claimed the tailgun. Depending on how much mosquito fog he brings we may put him in his own group. Ha. Just kidding! @Tank5 is the center spotter.

I love how laid back SAS is. Percolated coffee in the morning, then we'll figure out what trail sounds good that day. this is how I like to roll.

The event seems to fit many styles. I like to leave early morning and drink my coffee on the trail, then get out of the high country before the weather rolls in.

At times it’s a little to laidback.
But as long as you interact with others well that’s easy to overcome.
In other words just get out and talk to Folks!!
😎

So when I come up to you with a recorder to get content for the podcast don't run away.;)

That won’t be an issue. I have been accused of talking to much. 🤣😂
