How do you like the Reolink setup? I'm looking for a sort of DIY home security camera setup where NOTHING goes to the cloud and it doesn't require a monthly fee. I don't need monitoring. Just an NVR with a hard drive that I can plug my cameras into, and I may or may not connect it to my wifi network.

We like it and the system is quite durable. As you can imagine, those cameras face some serious weather conditions and they haven’t had any major issues in 6-7 years. They have disconnected a few times, but otherwise have been great.

We are only using the cameras via WiFi. We don’t have any security or offline backups. The bears have given up on breaking into our cabin so we opted to go without an alarm. Ha.

I have an Arlo system that isn’t cloud based. It makes its own local network and when connected to our router and extender, covers quite a bit of the property.
Had it for several years, it’s good for the price we paid back then.

Finally got the new header/exhaust installed…. She runs sooo much better now with the sniper with the major air leaks gone… so much so that I’m actually seriously contemplating driving it out to SAS again this year instead of my original plan to trailer it.

Adding the sniper, then the header to mine, made a world of difference. It pulls so much stronger and easily blasts down the interstate. Best investment so far in the 2f (other than the complete rebuild and oversized pistons).
