It looks like summer again. I was really hoping for a foot of snow.
It’s been unseasonably hot on the central coast breaking records by 12 to 15 degrees
Really hot for Morro Bay NOT GOOD 😳

Happy Easter. Motor test fired and in place 🙂. Should be moving under its own power this week. LOF done on the 40!

@Mike Shull Opened the shirts and coozies today. They look great nice job . A shame you didn't make them years ago before i stopped drinking . The @Broski coozie may have worked as well as AA..... Not sure if I could handle seeing Richard with every sip hahaha..

Thanks! Good luck at Cruise Moab. The can coolers are also good for seltzer waters. 😉 I have 100 and I’m planning to bring some with me to SAS if folks are interested in purchasing for $10 ea. I think that Richard’s coolers turned out the best!

Richard, is this picture of your 80 taken on Mineral Creek? The black and white was taken on Poughkeepsie Gulch last year.

Depending on your motor mounts AC compressor access when everything is buttoned up can be tricky. Might be a good time to consider a new one? I had the misfortune of needing to replace mine post-swap, and thankfully I had enough clearance to get it out but I've heard it's a bear in some circumstances.

Oh yeah, just for mock up. All new lines and compressor in plan.

This is good advice. Mine has a 1/4” or less of clearance to the frame and it went bad right after it was charged. The A/C shop barely got the compressor off without having to lift the engine.

I'm in the same boat. Picked up my 80 after registration was full so wait listed but I don't have much hope. Hopefully we both make it next year.
Yeah, I'm probably headed out in mid June ~ July 2nd to the San Juans (hopefully trails are open then, I think they will since there was not much snow this year); I was out there 2 years ago during LCDC but had a rental Jeep so I'm familiar with everything but Imogene and Black Bear which we were not allowed to do in the rental.

Just hoping I can get it fixed up enough that I can depend on it for the 2400 miles to Durango and back + trail mileage.
