Maybe the strangest carnage we saw at the shop. Yes we got him back going!
The carrier broke at the bearing, and the opposite side gear broke in half. I have built and serviced hundreds of 3rds and I have never seen them go this way. Maybe this is more common in rigs with the factory limited slip?

I had a minor battlefield wound, a bleeding front pinion seal. Dr Justin had me back in play after a very short clinic visit.

This also happened to me. I pulled the empty can out of the carrier and it rattled. This came out. The casting broke near the can neck. The mold date on the can is October 1993. I noticed an odd vent sound when l poured the can Friday night. Now I know why.
Bummer. These cans are hard to come by.

You should throw it away… in my trash can.

Compromised MFCs still beat everything else out there. I have a few in the reserve bank. We use that many for Lake Powell houseboat trips. At least we used to, before it vanished.

splendid use of black and white, nice compositions and fantastic awareness of direction of light.
Thanks Ian, appreciate the tips this week.

This very banner was the one used for the group photo. I'm honored to have it. It was accidental. The one slated got left behind and I had one in the 74.

must be contagious.

(my can is Korean war vintage from a local army surplus store… it probably has a lot of stories if it could talk)

I had recoated/sealed the inside with POR, which frankly had held up surprisingly well. I think the vent broke from all the bouncing on the trails.

That was no accident my friend. Thank you for all the hard work in the registration tent. Looking forward to seeing you both next year.

Yes, more Sarah! Nothing better then a Land Cruiser that smells like it’s cooking dinner… because it is.

We had a great time wheeling with you guys. Thanks to all the guys that made that great event that great. The committee sponsors KOA staff and everyone else involved. Hopefully see you at SAS 11. Thanks again
