The SAS wagon made it home to Amarillo today around 3:30. 100 ° in a soft top 40 is so worth the week of wheeling and camping with all you Knuckleheads. Had an excellent week thanks to all of you.
Will be playing dead for at least two days here to recoup. Many thanks to everyone behind the scenes that bring such an amazing and memorable week to Ouray each year. Couldn't do it without you guys.
@BombCity @CenTXFJ60 @Mesa Woman
@Beastiethe70 @cornboy @RocketCityCrzrs @cruiserdan @BigHighBlue @DirtySteve
@dirtykay @80Lady Mrs @John McVicker @Cruiser Cult @Ditcherman @OlYellr and all our outstanding sponsors for allowing us to have such a cool raffle and trivia night possible.
Lastly, I would like to thank my amazing better half @NotYou60 for putting up with and helping keep me sane while getting all the things in order. Not to mention being my navigator for a whole bunch of miles in a hot, loud and windy 40.

Have to say, this was my favorite year. Possibly because my youngest daughter came with me this year. Feeling blessed. I appreciate all the work that has gone into this event. Many memories made for me the last few years. Im hoping that I can convince the rest of the family to come out with me in the future 🙏🏼.

Huge thanks to the organizers and volunteers for putting on another great SAS. It was a blast wheeling with friends, meeting new people, and spending the week surrounded by all the sweet cruisers.

Already looking forward to next year.

Shoutout to Precision Land Cruisers for the fan clutch I won at the raffle/auction. I’m looking forward to installing it on my 80 series.

Always amazing how quickly the week of SAS goes by. I enjoyed having a mellow week this time around and only did a couple of trails; but it was awesome to catch up with everyone again.

Hats off to the whole SAS crew for building this wonderful event into what it is today. I've been to tons of Toyota 4x4 events over the last 15 or so years, (even hosted one myself), and SAS is consistently the best by a huge margin. Here's to another 10 years!

Fj ran good the whole time, other than plugging a fuel filter headed up Imogene. Nice guy in a 83 Toyota tube buggy drug me up to a flat spot so I could crawl under and figure it out. Thanks to Brian and Tony for coming back for me!

Thank you to all of our friends and sponsors who support SAS. It was another great event thanks to all of you.

Our good friend Chris Dickinson, @cdphotog, sent me the Dropbox link to his images from SAS 10. Even if you weren't on the trail with him, you will enjoy these images. Chris shoots these free-of-charge because he loves his craft, and this event. That being said, he is good with us using the images for personal purposes. However, if you would like to use any of them for commercial or editorial purposes, please reach out to Chris to discuss (chris@cdphotog.com). And, as always, please be sure to give photo credit whenever possible. I'm sure he would appreciate you all giving him a follow on Instagram, as well.
