Especially sitting in your disabled LC on the back of a flatbed tow truck driving thru the middle of Utah during covid because the tow truck driver wont let you sit up front in the cab…. you cant make that stuff up! 🤣🤣🤣
I have people do that too, sometimes, I have had a whole family in theirs going to the Beach on vacation. Only so much room in the cab of my rollback.

I bet that 60 was getting GREAT mpg

Who is bringing the FJ45LV? I would like to go for a ride in it if there is time.
Only 5080 made, wow.
That will be a real treat to see.
I didn’t really know much about that truck.

In my haste to fill out the registration form I just put down FJ40 but I suppose I should put down a “B”, but certainly don’t want people to think I have a 45LV. I just never know what to call it around educated people. It’s just an FJ40 to the masses.

You squarely have a Toyota CJ8. No, really, I would call it an FJ44.

I never know what to tell people what model mine is, either. It has the dimensions of an FJ43.

Ya that’s good nomenclature I guess, denotes not factory. Maybe BJ44 though?
Yes, BJ44 sounds perfect, and fitting considering that you have a 6BT, right? You could also consider SJ44. The S could stand for sway or smokey.
I am looking forward to see you all again and do some fun wheeling. The old girl is always ready.View attachment 4072425
I’m loving this 45. I don’t remember seeing it last year if you were there. I will have to stop by. We need to do a car show. The photo shoot was kind of close but it also seemed stressful.

This is why we chose to move the group photo to Tuesday evening. Give you knuckleheads time to hang out and mingle. Lie about your rigs.

43, 44 and 46 are all mid wheelbase, same dimensions. Engines are the difference.

I thought a 44 was only an ICON number, made up by then to denote their 4 door?
Not a Toyota number?

BJ44. JDM market. Mid wheelbase 2 door. Both hard and soft top.
Jonathan Ward's nomenclature means his 44 has 4 doors.

I appreciate the education, BJ44 completely slipped my mind.

ICON advertises their 44 coming in at 114 inches generally, with a few customs out to 120”.
Google says:
FJ45LV 116”
FJ43 and 46 95.7”
FJ40 90”

I’m at a hundred and “you’re going to turtle that on everything” thirty-two with my 4 door 40.

I’m taking a screenshot of this and putting it on a shirt with a picture of a man scratching his head. Title it “Dazed and Confused”

Looking forward to this years’ event and putting the sponsor hat on this time around. @bottombracket and I will be putting together a couple sweet medical/ditch bags for the raffle and will have some other offerings from the vault. Whiskey from the land of the rising sun will also be provided. Bringing the 75 and the 60 this time. Will be great to represent the 70 series:
