Thanks! And yeah, I'm absolutely willing to ship to Canada. I am very experienced with Intl. Trade, so sending product across a border doesn't bother me at all. Depending on what color you are interested, I can also ship a top out this afternoon (I'm out of stock on black & Tan Tops right now again, but have stock in all other colors). If you were looking for a top & Bows, I couldn't ship today, but could get the crate built & ship tomorrow or the day after that. We could definitely get product in your hands before the end of the month.

Would be looking for the tan c/w bows. How long till new stock arrives? Not in a big panic to get top as there's lots of work to be done before i'll be ready to install

I actually have 3 tan tops in the works right now (one is tentatively spoken for, pending completion of the top & then the deal actually going through), but I'm having a bit of trouble with the thread tensioner on our sewing machine, so I'm not making much progress. But I have an idea to contract these out to a local team that really knows how to sew heavy goods, so I'm hoping to have them done shortly. I'll keep you posted when I know for sure on the timing.

After several years of working on them, I've finally got finished product in hand & ready to sell. Since it is the holiday season, and as an introductory to entice people to consider buying from an unknown, "brand", I'm going to offer sale prices on the soft tops for the rest of December (that perfect Christmas gift you've been planning to buy). Prices during the month of December:

Black or Khaki Tan tops - $675 each plus shipping
Heather Grey/Black, Korean Drab, Paki Drab, white - $625 each plus shipping

OEM Bows - $800 each if you are buying a top from me (bundled price), $1,000each if you are sourcing a top from one of the other options out there, plus shipping. At the moment I have 7 sets of OEM bows in total. 6 sets are currently missing the 4 brackets for mounting the rear bow, but I wanted to go ahead & get this thread started now, while waiting on them. they are coming soon, just left out of my shipment accidentally.

Black and Tan tops are made from US produced canvas. The colors are made from Pakistani sourced canvas. Zippers are YKK Marine Mates zippers & pulls. All straps are made from US made 1" webbing & all D-rings are US made, welded & powder coated. They should last a lifetime without rusting.

All zipper flaps have velcro sewn along the outside edge to keep them closed tightly & eliminate flapping. The mounting straps are cut long, so that the buyer can trim to their desired length (cut with scissors, use lighter to melt the end just a bit to seal the cut). There are keeper loops sewn into the top along the main & mid bow to help eliminate billowing.

Tops are sewn in Pakistan, but are not Paki tops (that was a brand, these are Teq Tops, my brand). Essentially, I've partnered with Ahmed in Pakistan to use their know-how to produce these tops, while eliminating all of the weak points of locally sourced Pakistani hardware. Pics of the Heather Grey/Black top are below (mounted on my mostly beat up 74 Factory Soft Top). Pics of the other colors will be coming shortly.

For Tops: $700 for all colors made with Pakistani fabric (Heather Grey/Black, Korean Drab, Pakistani Military Drab, White, & $775 for the US sourced fabric tops (Black, Tan). The caveat being that I am sold out of the black and tan tops for a little while. This is a Mud only price, I also sell them on Ebay for more, so don't buy from me there.

Shipping is not included in the purchase price, but so far I've found that shipping is roughly $25-30 max for USPS inside of the continental US, which includes a tracking number & insurance.

If you are in need of bows too, I sell them for $800usd plus shipping if you are also buying a top from me. So you could get a top plus bows for as little as $1,500 plus shipping. Bows & a top are usually between $80-100 for shipping to your local Forward Air terminal, and you would need to pick up from there. That price includes insurance on the bows, since they are pricey & hard to come by. Let me know if you have any other questions.

I got one of these and really happy with it. I have some fit issues with my OEM bows, but the top construction and fit is great! Really sturdy zippers and straps. It was shipped fast and exactly as described. It's canvas so he even included Mud directions on how to water proof it. Satisfied customer.

Is their any other way to secure the back corners without footman loops? I have a 1983 BJ42 that is pretty rare and would like not to have to install the footmans...

Yes use the turnbuckles around the whole thing... Several years they did this

They are also called common fasteners... They are the same as found that hold the seat straps in the side facing rear jump seats

You would need to remove the straps from the rear... (Unstitch) and make you own spots to put the fasteners... Many places sell the female end that goes on the canvas ... It's very cheap

And putting them on is pretty easy

Your easiest solution would be to trade me your 83BJ42 for my beat down 74FJ40 FST. Then you wouldn't have to worry about Footman's loops! But seriously, JohnnyC is right on the money for my tops. you would need to use a seam ripper to cut the stitching on the straps, then remove & mount up the turnbuckles to the tub & grommets to the top. I supply 10 of them with my tops for the sides, but could easily throw in 6 more for your corners if you were interested. Beyond the turnbuckles, you could also use the, "Push the Dot" style soft top attachments, or even just plain old soft top snaps like the old Kayline tops did.

Alternatively, if you aren't happy with any solution I can offer, Marshall (Trollhole on here) offers an OEM replica top that uses a combination of a proprietary bungie attachment with hooks in the Hard top bolt holes & magnets for the flaps. I'd love to work with you on a solution & a top, but if that is more to your liking, then you should hit him up & learn more about it.

Yes! (With a couple of caveats)... I've got about 8 sets of OEM bows on hand right now, but I only have three colors of tops in stock right now (black, light drab & Heather grey w/black trim). I'm out of stock on the other colors for the time being. Package price for a top & bows is $1,500 plus shipping for the light drab or Heather grey/ with black trim tops or $1,575 for bows & a black top (plus shipping). Shipping is generally 75-100 bucks which is to your closest freight terminal & includes insurance on the purchase. You have to pick up at the terminal.

Yes & no. I am working on a new production run, so yes. But it will be a few months before I have them. And I'm working on a new factory waxed canvas, so the new tops will be a different canvas that is factory waxed & the tops will be a bit more expensive than these...
