I'm guessing you are talking about the cross shaft correct? Fit's between the 2 halves of the locker?

Try pulling the ends of the axle shaft out. It might give you just a wee bit of room.

Yes, the cross shaft...I tried doing that but it just looks too narrow, I'm going to pull the pins and do it over, when I was rotating one of the inner axles, the c-clip came out...:grinpimp:

I though it was going to be easy...but as always...it's not.

Rear Locker Installed....check!

That will be fun.

In what way?
It's going to be fun to drive on the trails? Or are you being retorical...it will be a pain in the butt to drive around town?

Rui...your garage is starting to look like mine!

It's amazing how a little FJ40 can spread out once you take it apart...:D

Need to sell a couple of motorcyles and some other misc stuff so I have room...

I put in a rear locker and after driving it a couple of times I ordered one for the front.

Fun....Fun.....Fun:bounce:

Don't know Chuck,
Your version of fun is a bit more extreme than mine...

I've daily driven a vehicle with a rear locker in it for probably 7-8 years. No big deal.

Off road it will be big time fun.

I'm sure I will have to modify my driving a little bit. I'm sure trail riding will make me a little more brave on trying harder stuff.

Pretty! I'll call you when I order mine!

You bet...but make it before I leave...I got notified of Orders...so I will be here until May 2011.

Short wheelbase rig with an automatic locker is going to be hairy on icy roads. The big thing here is to always remember it's there. If you always take caution, it's no big deal.

You're leaving next May? .. That sucks...
