That winch is going to look great on your 40. Did you leave the Jeep sticker on it?

Vic

Ha ha...funny...no...I try not to contaminate my 40 with jeep parafinalia...;p...I ordered a sticker pack from Warn.

I think I will put it on a 4plus bumper from Man-a-fre...something like this...

If anybody in the club has any Fab skills that would help me build something like this...I sure would be interested...:hhmm:

Yea, I don't know what that feels like... ;)

I hear kidneys are in high demand.

So what are these plans you keep mentioning?

Which ones? The one to take over the world or the one about the fj40?

Does this give you a hint...

...I'm good at drinking beer and watching / slinging insults.

Thanks, but my wife already has that part taken care of...:flipoff2: Just joking...she is a good trail partner.

Oh my...I'm guessing it's rust repair time. That's a lot of pieces missing on your 40.

I'm debating getting it down to the frame and have it sand blasted...that would be a great start to rust prevention....but again...it's gona take a lot of work to get down to the frame...

I noticed your roll-around stool looks like a Harbor Freight model. Are all of your new Cruiser parts coming from Harbor Freight?

I have come to the conclusion that the less mechanical something is the better it's made at Harbor Freight...so the stuff I need that are precision, I buy from other places...

Now if harbor freight made cruiser parts...I would probably buy them before Jeep parts...:) Just kidding.

I don't know if I would say the less mechanical something is the better it's made at HF, but definitely cheaper in cost, and that's why I buy those type of things there if I can. :D

Work continues...slowly but steadily. ;p

Keep up the good work ;-) What neck of the woods are you in?

Thanks! I'm here in Colorado Springs. My next thing to do is get the brake lines off and remove the master brake cylinder and the booster...trying to get all the stuff of so I can take the front cab off and get it upside down...get all the rust cut and replaced, lather on some Chassis saver, put some Raptor bed liner on it and get the frame to the powder coaters so they can sand blast the the thing...then I should have a good frame to build it back up!

Working on the odometer right now...they are notorious for getting stuck...I see why now...the lubricant they put on there has dried and solidified to point of not moving :frown:, mine got stuck at 111k miles...I have no idea what it actually has.

Later I'm going to need someone with a trailer that can help me get it to the powder coaters and back...might be some free  in it !!
