Great wheeling, great weather, great food, great everything! Another first class event by LSLC! Best part was visiting with many old friends and having the opportunity to meet many new. When does registration open for 2014?

Thanks to all involved! I had a fantastic time!

We all had a fantastic time as always. Can't wait to go again next year.

AND, I didn't have to plug your tire this year!

 What a great time!

A big shout out to Butch, Nick, Jeff, Perry, and all the others for pulling off another great event.

Great to see everyone again including old friends and also made some new ones. My only gripe is I didn't get to say Hi or Bye to everyone I wanted to. If my wife, grandson, or I missed ya then we have an excuse to get together again.

We have a new skid plate to put under Lindy's cruiser fro Iron Pig Offroad. Speaking of Iron Pig, those guys from Viginia are great. We went out with them on Thursday and had a blast. Cheers to them. They know how to wheel, and every single guy in the group was looking behind them, as much as they were looking forward, to make sure the trucks behind were making it OK.:cheers:

I gotta get out more. :crybaby:

funny you should mention that ..... the only damage at K2 ( for us anyways ) as a flat trailer tire. got it plugged with the help from our buddy Nick from corpus; his plug kit was way better than the old beater we had with us.
by the time we got home, the buggy had developed a couple of leaks. passenger rear axle flange was pissing gear oil; all the bolts had backed out. no big deal. and the t-case decided it wanted to be divorced from the trans, but luyckily it was just loose bolts on the adapter. pulled the skid plates off, cleaned up the bolts, loctited and tighten them back up. good to go.

and when i got home tonight, the tow-rig had a flat rear tire. probably a nail. i'll deal with it tomorrow....

really not a bad carnage report considering we towed the rig 3600 miles and beat the crap out of it for 3 days straight!

edited to move photos and questions to a new thread

Left yesterday at 3.15pm and crossed the CA border about an hour ago. 500 miles to go. Making record time......

I wasn't able to make it this year, but I did see you in West Texas, heading home, on I-10, just before Balmorhea(Saturday evening). I was coming home from Arizona with my kids that are just starting Spring Break. Glad it was a great time for all. Hope to make it next year.

Family and I had an incredible time. Did not get as much wheel / trail / spectator time as I would have liked due to having the three little ones along, but they still have not stopped talking about how much fun they had.

On the to-do list as a result of the trip is a T-case skid and to finally finish my sliders so I don't have to puss out on a few extra trails next time.

Good people, good bands, good wheeling!

Good times as always with my TX family! I say every year that I'm not making that drive next year but I always end up going! Always glad I did after the event. Great event with great people! The bands were awesome and the beer was cold! Looking forward to next year! Thanks again LSLC for a great time!

another FINE time with a great bunch of people...really enjoyed the week! Great food, great bands, great wheeling...as always!

I should be digging thru photos tonite and hope to have a handful posted soon.

Had a blast myself as well! I thought it was great to get back to basic wheeling, but boy do I need some sliders! Thanks to K2, LSLC and all the folks that were there. This has always been a "must do" for us, and this year was no different.

Well stated Woody, I completely concur. And thanks to charles and georg for letting me drive their trucks, attacking the big stuff is pretty darn fun!

Oh, thanks to d'animal for giving us a stihl chainsaw short maintenance clinic very informative! Hopefully you can do that at SCC too.
