Got back to ATL last night. Wow, what a great time on the rocks of K2! Glad we got to hang with the "big trucks" of IPOR on Saturday. Got to do some things I would have never tried on my own - Cam is the best spotter. Met some new folks and got to put some faces to MUD names. Thanks again LSLC.

Anybody else get sick? I felt like cr4p Sunday morning. The 9 hour ride back to Arkansas was pretty miserable. Monday was even worse, ended up calling in sick from work. Pretty sure it's just allergy stuff from all the dust and 90 degree mid-day temps to 50 degree night temps every day.

On the bright side I had a blast. It was my first year to Katemcy Rocks and the terrain is like nothing I've ever driven on. You guys put on one heck of an event!

Thanks to the Dallas crew for a great event!!! Already waiting for next year!!!

 What a great time!

Speaking of Iron Pig, those guys from Viginia are great. We went out with them on Thursday and had a blast. Cheers to them. They know how to wheel, and every single guy in the group was looking behind them, as much as they were looking forward, to make sure the trucks behind were making it OK.:cheers:

I gotta get out more. :crybaby:

Yup rolled with them Thursday morning as well and camped next to them and can say the same things. I had the Tie rod rotate down on me and caused the ram mount for the full hydro to bang the diff up pretty good limiting my steering to the right and I didn't have a 1-1/4" wrench, only channel locks. Guys at IPOR were happy to lend out a large crescent for me.

funny you should mention that ..... the only damage at K2 ( for us anyways ) as a flat trailer tire. got it plugged with the help from our buddy Nick from corpus; his plug kit was way better than the old beater we had with us.
by the time we got home, the buggy had developed a couple of leaks. passenger rear axle flange was pissing gear oil; all the bolts had backed out. no big deal. and the t-case decided it wanted to be divorced from the trans, but luyckily it was just loose bolts on the adapter. pulled the skid plates off, cleaned up the bolts, loctited and tighten them back up. good to go.

and when i got home tonight, the tow-rig had a flat rear tire. probably a nail. i'll deal with it tomorrow....

really not a bad carnage report considering we towed the rig 3600 miles and beat the crap out of it for 3 days straight!

Holy crap! lol

I lost a RR wheel seal as well, and my pinion has a nice drip up front on the D60, broke a spring pin but had it fixed up in no time, and had battery issues out there. All in all no real carnage and got to beat on it and pick silly lines all week.

I had a blast. Thank you to everyone that was involved will try and make it again next year. Hopefully with my own rig!!!!! A BIG thanks to Perry for helping us out with everything and getting our buddy to the park.

I had a fantastic time! Best event I've been to! It was great to catch up with old friends, meet some MUD friends in person, and meet some new friends. Huge props to the LSLCs for their hard work and a great time. Many thanks to K2 for their hospitality. I have to say that a hot breakfast every day was the BOMB! A shout out to Lance and his gang for letting me get some time behind the wheel on Saturday. I've now gotten bitten by the bug and plan on making an acquisition in the not too distant future!

Thanks again to everyone!

Welcome to Lone Star Heather! You're good people and always welcome. Our club may be spread across hundreds of miles, but we always have a great time when we gather.
Happy Trails! N
