This week's progress:

First I start off by cutting out the stock mounting brackets:

Next, I ditched my crappy copperhead fab hydro conversion in favor of the swag offroad version.

Then, I sold my fj-55.

From there I started on the gaping hole and mounting of the seats:

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just drove ol' blue around the parking lot for about 20 mins... I was literally just doing laps to do some tuning for the fool injection. Holy smokes... the big block has some getty up and the tuning isnt even close to being dialed in.

SO FREAKIN happy right now. Tons to do but she's a driver!

Well where it's the burnout video ...? :D

soon... I dont want to push things quite yet. I really should add a traction bar first too.

hahahahahahaha, I just spent my entire lunch break driving around the business park. People thought I was nuts. I did set off about 4 or 5 car alarms though.. I have say that even though I didnt give the powerjection a lot of different terrain to "learn" on it did a pretty good job adjusting in its "self learn" feature. I was running PIG rich but by the end of the session it really cleaned up quite a bit. So far so good on the fool injection.

ok ok ok ok .. not burnout yet .. what about just rolling on its own power video .? ;) ( burnout was just kidding .. )

Congrats. Always a good feeling. Hows the front suspension feeling? I am working on spring rates tonight to order up my coil overs this week.

spring rates seem fair (triple rate tenders/300/350). Maybe a little on the soft side? I'm used to a f350 with VERY VERY rigid suspension so the sway is throwing me off some. Its been A LONG time since I've driven a vehicle that is oriented for offroad so it may just be something I will get used to (I remember feeling the same when I went SOA). I dont think I'm really far off but I really need a bit more seat time to tell.

Its certainly not a sports car but my intial impressions arent negative at all. There is a set of rail road tracks that was on my "circuit" and it went over them as smooth as butter.
