not a lot to post but I'm officially reserving the right to rename my build the "swagger wagon"... I thought the toyota commercial was funny and also fitting for my cruiser and the stage in my fatherhood.

Here's my poor excuse of a "tech" update:

Mocked up my propane tanks:

Looks like I could run a third if I really needed for like Rubicon, the dunes, or Moab.

the commerical for those who havent seen it...

you would get more use out of beer kegs in the back than those empty propane bottles. or maybe you could just make the swagger wagon into the chuck wagon and hook up the propane to a bbq and get to grillin'

when is the next work day?

kinda holding off until my motor comes back from the machine shop but soon. I also did a fairly decent job cleaning out the garage (went to the dump with three full truck loads of CRAP) and re-organizing so there is actually room to work in there and find tools.

is the cinder block a ghetto parking brake you carry with you in case you have to park on a hill?:flipoff2:

lol, awesome.

Lookin good .. I trimed a inch too much to run my tanks like that  I have to run mine left to right keep the pics comin can't wait to see it on the trail again

Another distraction.... traded my lil 1973 xl250 for this bike. I need to paint the wheels black and get a black seat cover but other than that its a fun little bike. Should make up for the crappy gas mileage I'm going to get with the big block. :)

mmm if I tell my wife that Tencha with a V8 will be to expensive to drive .. maybe she allow me to buy a bike hayabusa turbo to me .. :D

just what you needed! where does the BBC fit in this one?

Clint

I'll bet if he got a smaller gas tank he could fit one in there no problem :hhmm:

not a fan of the looks of the hayabusa... BUT my dad has oen with some stuff done to it and a 65 shot of nitrous that is fun to ride. even with no nitrous it will get up and stop the speedometer on the peg (185-190) in a few seconds and keep going hard. but it has a chip exhaust and some other junk and a professional dyno tune.:meh:

no but I have a buddy already trying to coax me into bolting a 1100 motor in there. From what he tells me its a "bolt in" swap. :)

Honestly, I just want to change a few things on it cosmetically getting running good, ride it for a while and sell it/trade it.... I'm more of a supermoto or dual sport bike kinda guy. I just couldnt pass up the trade though.

My big block "go fast" parts should be here today or Tuesday so I should be able to resume work on the swagger wagon soon.

nothing too exciting but I did a clean up of the old EFI junk on the frame rails and did a little painting too. I left the scab plates on there for a couple reasons.

1. They're right on the part of the frame where it turns so it will help stiffen it up.

2. I might end up using them later.

3. The real reason... those are 1/4 plates and I hate grinding. :)

Oh yeah... first one guy to PM me that is running a TBI set up can have the pump pictured in the photo as a trail spare. As long as the shipping isnt ridiculous I'll even cover the shipping.
