Awesome.
And thanks for all the great work you do on this forum.
Your knowledge and constant patience has helped me learn quite a bit about these trucks, and your rig has been a constant source of envy for myself.

Now if I could only get to Slee one day and order the "Romer"Package for my stock 94.

Now there's a marketing idea for Christo.........or not. :D

I notice you have less hair in the current pics than in some of the old pics. Think that also contributes to less weight for the truck to haul and therefore a tad more spry on the rocks.

Nice writeup.

Thanks Junk, long time no talk to. Ummm reffug was suppose to take your key to the 80's forum away when you sold your truck:D

I think someone said this the first time around, but I'll repeat it anyway -- I want my LX450 to be like yours when it grows up!! Sweet rig!!

Still have the forum key, and the 80 although it's for sale in the classifieds. Life is getting back to normal, so can now lurk more often.

Great job on the truck and with the forum.

B, Mikey knows I feel the same way, just don't want him to get a big head.

beautiful

I think the issue might be Junk's Momma trying to give.......
Oh never mind, Nice truck ken and nice to see you Mike.

Nice rig(s) awesome write up, I'd like to apply for RHSCOR status (red headed step child of Romer) seeing as how you treat your very lucky daughters that has to be good for an ARB, slees, sliders and tires. lol

:D

Romer,

Excellent write up and attention to all the little details. At first glance it is daunting to look at a nice truck like yours and see how far mine has to go. The nice thing about the write up is it shows how it has definitely been a process over time. Having said that, it appears that your budget is much healthier than most, lucky. Thanks for all the good ideas and work on the site.

The big step came because I sacrificed my FJ40 and explained to the wife that all the money was going into the 80.

The big step came because I sacrificed my FJ40 and pleaded and begged the wife to let me spend some of the money on the 80.

Fixed it for ya. :D

Very Impressive. you must have a good job to support all these trucks ;)

This board is too "image" based. I want to hear your exhaust. Who do I bribe to get an audio recording of it ? :)

Romer, looking good, and I'm glad I could help contribute to the madness. I'm driving to Flat Nasty next year.. guess it's my turn? ;) really dig the toyos as well, truck is looking good my friend.

Oh, drove the 40 to work today, had some cute chick at the light check me out... she must have thought I was someone else.

What a transformation!Sorry to hear that you had to sell the 40.
How did you like the truck with the OME meds and all the armour?
I like the way that you have set up the FAQ's section. It makes it very easy to look things up.
Also when you had the body damage how was that repaired? Thanks.
