made a cross brace for the hoops with some flanges I had laying around. I welded everyhing on a wood bench lots of smoke.

used 1.25 120 wall. used the smaller OD tube becasue of clearance issues. I couldnt figure out anywhere else to put the cross brace

Coming along nicely.

Get the garden hose bib off the waterneck. The extra weight will crack it.

Thanks Danno

I have had that shut of valve on there for a couple of years. I thought it was a good idea to have a valve on the supply side of the heater but I have never had any issues so I havent ever used it.

I bought an inline cable operated valve from Rock Auto and a choke cable from Napa to open and close the valve with. I put the shutoff valve above the rocker cover and mounted the cable in the dash. The valve works great! I can adjust the temp with it or completely shut it off.

ride height turn

burned in the hoop side shock tabs. realized they were a bit thin, 1/8 so I doubled them up and burned them in. I will add some addititonal bracing later

DSCN2135.jpg

Ran out of wire so I had to use a lighter gage wire and turn up the heat
