did you put rtv on the splines? sometimes the oil goes thru the splines. is the diff getting hot? if the bearings are worn it can get hot and push oil out sometimes.

I did not RTV the splines! Worth a try for sure! Thank you.

I'll be driving it home from work shortly, so I'll check the temp when I get home. Great suggestion.

at least the washer behind the nut. glue it to the yoke and it shouldn't leak there.

Did you check the inside diameter of the seal to the pinion flange b4 installing for fitment?

Yes, it seemed like a typical oil seal type fit.

Diff does not appear to be getting hot. Was barely warm to the touch after 20 mins of driving.
