Made that look easy:cool:

Should you have someone outside the glass or maybe run a few strips of duct tape down from the roof to the glass to keeep from shoving it all the way out and dropping it on the floor?

How about showing how to put one back in, in case I decided I wanted my LCP flip up window on the opposite side, after I had installed it once. Now I want to reinstall the original window.....

You could also show how to install a LCP flip up window if you haven't already......

its almost the exact same way you remove the back glass from the toyota pickups and tacomas only a little bit longer. The pickups only take about 10 seconds with two of those interior tools. AWESOME! Super easy.

Great video. I did this last week to replace the window frame, same way. It was the first time removing glass for me so I was a bit weary, but it is pretty easy. Bought a set of plastic interior trim tools on Amazon and they've been invaluable taking off old trim and prying at rubber. Plus they came in a fancy case, which is nice.

Thanks for sharing the video, very helpful info for replacing the rubber pieces on that windows. =)

The Santana background music kept you motivated ☺

Does the ten minutes include the trip to Harbor Freight? Is dropping the wedges required?

After he dropped the wedges for the 18th time I was waiting for a ball peen hammer to come out.

Harbor freight delivers

As for dropping the wedges my hair was getting in my eyes so you should be fine
:D

Just a little bit of wind going on here:)

Well I only grow hair where men grow hair, on their face :flipoff2:

So unless there is a hard wind to blow my beard up I suppose I have nothing to worry about :p

Thank you for keeping this Safe For Work. I was scared where you were going with this...

is there some sort of effective ointment or solvent one could slather on the rubber moldings to make them more pliable before doing this?

Arizona Heat! The rubber is soft and pliable without anything. I used soapy water when I remove my first window and to me the soapy water made it more difficult. Although when reinstalling it soapy water made it easy going back in. The cold make a Big difference on how easy it comes out. All my rubber is in excellent shape and would look perfect if I needed to reinstall. But even without swingouts my flip up windows are here to stay.

I see your business plan here.. Show people how to get the window out, but not back in.

Brilliant.

I had 10 minutes to spare when I got home. It was just like Phil's video. A bit of fumbling around but literally less than 10 minutes I had both out. Same tools same method.
