Yeah our new house is up in Woodland Park. I haven't made it to the Western Omlet yet, but I love the green chili at King's Chef...

The Wester Omlet has the best green chili! small world!

Now Quit with all this Moving and buying houses, and Desert Races and get to work on this beast!

I know, I know I have been busy even Justin has been giving me a hard time. Have to go to desert races that's my passion/ next hobby! Last race of the season is in December, should be a decent little break from it after that... Although I will want to go twice as much next season as my buddy is getting a class one Jimco!!!!

Congrats on the new place and getting your own shop space.

Thanks I am very excited to finally have my own place! I ordered radiant tube heaters for the shop, just before leaving for the race so they should be shipped soon!

Also need to start organizing the shop, as the house is almost completely unpacked...

Build has been on the back burner (for the last month) as my fiance and I bought our first house. We have been moving and doing all the junk that goes with it... Up side is I finally got a shop to myself...

A few pictures...

Day we went to look at the house (made an offer the same day, was accepted 48hours later...)

To the right of the house, a view of the north face of pikes peak. (edge of the shop in the left hand corner)

The shop 36 X 34, has 220 and gas stubbed in, got radiant tube heaters installed last week and I am installing fluorescent lights currently.

Mmmmm, diamonds.

Gorgeous house, I wish I lived that close to Pikes Peak. Do they have regular races there or is it just a once in a while thing?

It is an annual race, during the end of June!! If you are refurring to the Pikes Peak Hill Climb! And most people don't know this, But the PPHC has allowed Rock Racers to run! JT Taylor and the Lovell's have run it!

congrads on buying the house with a nice shop,
beautiful views, I was on a business trip in Broomfield a few years ago and took the rental car for a little detour and had to check out the Pikes Peak

Thanks, I love Colorado its amazing...

Love those diamonds.
House looks nice to, shop looks like a decent size, wish mine was half the size, congratulations.:)

Thanks, I can't wait to beat on these axles (kind of jumping the gun I suppose :D). I am working like mad to get the shop workable (not done)...

I plan to head down to Justins soon and pickup my cruiser so I can at least stare at it and let the ideas flow...

It's home!

c'mon man, I've been waiting for you to get back to this ...house is nice ...but it aint goin nowhere!:D

I feel ya, I have been wanting to work on it so bad its killing me, however gotta get the shop where I need it so I can work. Just talked to the electrician today we are scheduled to get 200 amp service to the shop just after the new year...

After that I have to build a 3 phase converter and then we are back in business. Till then I am going to attempt to do some small stuff just to get the momentum going again.

when is the Housewarming party?.. ill bring the beer!

We are going to have a party in January, & you will for sure be invited!

A little update, got the turd home so I can start to tinker once again... :p

Im frickin jealous of that shop space!
Very nice and congrats.

Thanks again for the comments guys, sheet metal work is both my least favorite & least skilled area... I much prefer heavier metal fab work!

That being said I will give it my best try!

I share your distaste for sheet metal and it usually takes the longest for me to get around to doing on my own stuff. :hillbilly:

Congats on such a beautiful home with amazing Colorado style views.
