Sorry Brother, but I got to tell you way WAY to nice of a truck for rattle can paint.
What’s below is what’s nice. You know I will just dent it up.

Should have used a bucket and a broom, like some of the guys in my club. 😆
Let’s not get carried away! If you want to insult my paint job then just do that.

Not an insult. Just a suggestion for your next touch up. It's a super "off-roady" finish.
Off roady?? I was trying to avoid bedliner. Per haps I should shoot for fast instead of pretty.

We took a week trip to a warm, sunny beach resort to gain relief from the almost constant dreariness and rain here in the PNW this time of year. It certainly did pay off. I had a little time today so I installed the new parking brake cable. Next session will be the cooling units forward of the engine.

I’ve been chopping away at installing the 4 Speed Hut gauges. The decision of where and how is a done deal. Before I finish the gauge install I need to bolt on the transfer case shifter, gear shifter, and connect their linkages.

Looks clean Steve

Progress! What’s the ETIC? How many times have you bumped it?

No judgment from me…I’ve been soaking my knuckle/tie rods, suspension, and everything in between with PB Blaster for oh…6 weeks now. Lmao 🤣

I’ve always been in a hurry and I’ve always settled for something other than what I really wanted. I can’t afford what I really want in a Land Cruiser but I can use my acquired wisdom and patience to end up with a Land Cruiser that I believe in the day I start it up. After that, I’ll ice the cake.

I wasn’t looking fwd to the AC tube modification but it went easily. This rig is a 1996 so the AC dryer was down low outside of the core support. Up til late April-ish of 94 the dryer was tucked up safely beside the radiator. This mod is documented in the Mud archives. I didn’t have to by any parts save the new early 93 dryer because I had all the parts left over from the 93 I flopped then scrapped in 2023.
